Re: Winners and Losers
Kimbo thinks that I'm crazy for not trusting stats where the fine print says: Save % is based on suspect data and should be treated accordingly
Meanwhile, I have faith in Stats which tell me that Given has made 64 saves whilst conceding 32, whilst Gomes has made 58 saves conceding 14.
Soccernet seem far more certain about the accuracy of their Stats.

Re: Winners and Losers
Kris, none of this matters, no one with half a brain takes these stats seriously. No matter how accurate they are, they mean nothing. Please continue to bang on about it though, i'm sure soccernet is 100% trustworthy. I'm also sure that when the stats no longer suit your agenda they will become worthless to you, that will be typical of you.

So we're all agreed that Hart is the best thing since sliced bread then?

I've known that since about 2006.
But your obsession is starting to get a little weird

It's early days as far as i'm concerned, i judge keepers on their performances over years, not months. He could be another Robinson, or he could be that fresh Seaman you're looking for.
