Joe Cole to Man Utd?

Obviously this is minor speculation at the moment. But i've been thinking Joe Cole isn't going to stay for awhile now. Ancelotti doesn't seem to favour him strangely and it's been noticeable especially recently the lack of game time he's getting or that he's always the first one subbed off.

On a free he'd be one of the best players avaliable he's still only 28 and i personally think he's one of Chelsea's best players. Maybe a talented skillful player who's not a built bullyish type doesn't fit in there.

Guess he could end up at City also but Joe Cole seems more the type to go for a bigger club.

Funnily enough I was just discussing this with someone yesterday...I think he'd be a good signing. Can play on the wing or as an AM, and even though he's 28, since he's available on a free transfer, signing him wouldn't violate Man. Utd.'s new transfer policy of only spending big money on young players.

Would make an excellent signing. Could play on the left for United, better than Nani.

We were linked with him in January. Was never going to happen, but would have been very happy to see him at Spurs. One of the best creative players in the league -

only issue is he seems quite injury prone

Thought about this myself when the contract situation came up. If we could get Benzema as well, then it could be a very productive summer.

Isn't Benzema playing like a pile of cack this season?

I'd happily play Joe Cole behind Rooney in the England national team (in a 4-4-1-1), and think he could do much the same for Man Utd.

I'm amazed they weren't in for him when WHam got relegated, Chelsea got him cheap enough. Particularly given 'arry Redknapp's comments about Cole eventually transferring for £100 milllion.

With all 3 behind Rooney moving around when they see fit.

Joe Cole is much better than Nani. He's the biggest English talent after Rooney.

Nani has improved A lot, would still take Cole over him though.

Nani has simply been moved to a position that favours him more. He is the most skillful player in the premiership.
