    you heard it here first

only a fool would write VfB Stuttgart off

    for tonight's game against Barca

the Germans on THIS board have ALL raised the white flag and just pray for MERCY

    but ME THINKS

    NOT SO FAST USCHI

    the return TIE

    has

    MAJOR LEAGUE UPSET

    written all OVER IT

    now don't get me wrong

I am NOT saying that Stuttgart WILL WIN

what I AM saying though is

    even SWABIANS are GERMANS

and you NEVER write those Teuton warriors OFF

    IF

the Stuttgarter can embrace their INNER SCHWEINEHUND

    their INNER KAMPFSCHWEIN

    they will WRITE VATERLANDSGESCHICHTE

    you heard it here first

    Ale

    Stuttgart is the epicentre of

    MERCEDES

    of

    PORSCHE

    of

    BOSCH

    the HQ

    of SAP

    is nearby

    it's the HEARTLAND of the

    German MITTELSTAND

all those medium sized companies that are export world champs in their field

100% of all the Gold Medal winning RIFLES used at the SUMMER Olympics come from Swabian rifle makers

    Yikes <Ale>

    Stuttgarters

    famously

    SHOOT SHARP

    and TONIGHT

    POSSIBLY

    nay

    PROBABLY

Gaudi's CATHEDRAL will get taken down a PEG

    OR TWO

    think about it

    you defeatest, metrosexual Germans

FWIW my prediction is a narrow win for Barça, 1-0 or 2-0 or something. Especially now that Xavi is out.

    Otto
They should have finished it in the first leg. They had their chances and in an ungerman way they missed nearly them all. No Xavi normally means no Messi and no flow so if they manage to be as confident as they were in the first leg then perhaps but this is 2010 and germans aren't germans anymore.

    and so it continues

man for man, technically, Barca were always going to be FAR BETTER

    BUT

you can beat teams like that with PHYSICAL football

IF you FIGHT, and show self-confidence

THIS Stuttgart team NEVER believed it

which either makes them very UN-Germanic

Well no Xavi normally does mean no flow and a much poorer Messi. Can't help Stuttgart were so crap yesterday. But my point was very much true in the first leg for example.

Also with regards to Messi's pass I never said he didn't have the technique to make good passes. My point was that he isn't creative enough for my taste and Messi having almost like forever to find Yaya, who was completely unmarked, doesn't impress me. From a technical point it was a very good pass but I think many of us could have seen that one.

    Super Pel,

you've got some seriously high standards if Messi isn't creative enough for your tastes.

    Fair play to you.

Personally, I don't mind my women a little flabby around the sides. I'll take whatever I can get.

And for that reason, I was very impressed with Messi's pass last night, and indeed his overall creative abilities.
