I am fed up with both of them

the two are quite possibly the worst INTERNATIONAL managers in the Europe right now

totally clueless abroad, mostly because they are stylistic doctrinaires who fail to understand defense and tactics; appalling motivators as well

the pressure is now on for Bremen towards the end of the season (both in Europe and the Bundesliga)

so what do they do ?

throw away the game against Barca; play badly in Vigo; play ridiculous football in Amsterdam; and leak points in the Bundesliga left , right and center

today, even Cottbus were too big for three points

Schaaf is in charge of players who raise their game when under pressure for Germany

he's lost the locker-room

Allofs should sack him NOW to still have a chance of winning the Bundesliga, for , let's face it: easier than Cottbus, it ain't gonna be

with any luck Rehagel will be happy to help out

as for Wenger: already an international laughing stock in the CL, he starts losing it in the EPL as well

SACK Wenger and Schaaf immediately

Yes, but how many people were calling for his head, saying he's past it etc? Loads. Furthermore, Fergie had already won everything, and helped establish Utd as the biggest, richest club in the world, he had proven himself capable of it all.

I am amazed that arse fans are not dissatisfied with what has transpired this season, and that Wenger's job is not under pressure.

next season though may just see the arsenal fans resolve tested if this continues but I don't expect it to if wenger spends correctly in the summer

People are going to get frustrated pretty quick if Wenger continues to deliver promising youngsters with nothing to show for it bar neat little triangles. But I'd be inclined to guess that the best of the best of Wenger's prodigy's over the next 5 years will eventually dominate Europe.

Only a fool would want rid of Wenger.

all bias aside though waft you can hardly say arsenal are in a poor position squad wise. it won't take much to change their fortunes

I happily wrote off united's squad last year not thinking scholes would return to his present form or ronaldo could produce his one man band consistently. things can change quickly in football

who do you think would be a better fit for arsenal?

it's easy to be cocky with hindsight but at the time when we annihilated you in the FA cup, got knocked out of europe bottom of your group and were playing shit football without winning much in the previous few years the amount of discontent generated against the managers are hardly the same for arsenal and man u. This is probably waft's main point but as long as arsenal continue to play what is concieved to be good football combined with the hope from his 10 million kiddies I can't see many arsenal fans calling for his head anytime soon

My belief is that, for a man who studies things only in the long term, Wenger has been at arsenal too long. Do I think they can challenge for the title next season? Not at all, I think they will finish 4th.

Exactly, it's alright saying United turned it round so can Arsenal and things can change in football.

However can you see them winning the title next season? I certainly can't.

The arsenal crest should carry the motto "There's Always Next Year".

What I find funny about this thread is that otto has a go about wenger being clueless in europe and failing to understand defence and tactics and doesn't motivate

football is impossible to predict or else we would probably all be very rich

arsenal's squad is excellent as you know. it won't take much to make them into title challengers

I think it is pretty comparable to be honest with you.

I'm sure you read around Man Utd websites/forums for the last couple of years. You would have seen very similar comments that are being written about us at present. The accusations were almost the same. The club had gone backwards, the players brought in weren’t good enough, the formation was this or that, the manager had lost it and would never get it back.

Now fast forward 12 months you find yourselves top of the league, in the semi-finals of the FA Cup and still in the Champions League. Not bad for a manager who had lost it and must go. Were they premature in writing Ferguson off? Absolutely.

We are 100% behind Wenger, as we know things will pick up.

Of course you have a really talented squad and it could change next season, I don't think you'll win the title but thats just my opinion.

I just found it hypocritical of CotR to say there's no way you can write Wenger off, when he was banging on big time last season that we should sack Fergie.

Of course, I for one am not saying that we will be going for the quadruple next season or being in all the main competitions like you are in April. We just expect a marked improvement in our performances and start to look genuine contenders again for silverware. We are not here to finish 3rd or 4th each and every season from now on.

We all want success, its just we are going to have to be a patient for a little time longer. I think 85% of our squad is complete.

If we finish 4th next year, then questions will start to be asked. Watching us today was pretty depressing, sure but we were without our two best strikers...how many team would be able to deal with that?

I think Wenger may hvae over indulged in his philosophy but i dont see why we cant improve next year if we buy a goal scoring midfielder and henry returns to his best. A key factor to winning the title is to win the games you should win (sorry, an obvious comment) and at his best, Henry will always score against the mid table teams. Ronaldo has been identical to that this year in terroising mid table teams. We havent had anyone like that this year which is why we are so far behind...

We do have problems, ill admit that but it doesnt mean we should sack our manager.

Yeh... i wish we could have got rid of Ljungberg instead, even if Pires was a shadow of his former self last season. I dont think Rosicky plays much narrower than Pires but hes got one league goal so far.

Our top scoring midfielder is our defensive midfielder then a player who cant shoot and is being played out of position...

Ok, I think that people are forgetting an important detail here, that ManU has much, much more money than Arsenal.

They have a huge stadium that is always full, Arsenal just got The Emirates now, and they are still paying.

ManU defense is bad? No problem, lets buy the “the best defender in the world” = Rio 30 £ million
Sir Fergurson liked a great argentine in Italy? More 28 £ million on Veron.
There is a new prodigy in English football; here in comes another 31 £ million. (Rooney )
Even a bargain like Ronaldo was 12 £ million.

What are you talking about "what Wenger does with so little money"? Rosicky, Hleb, Walcott, Adebayor, in the last couple of years, most managers can only dream of these sums to play with.
