I do not think it was intentional on Carragher's part. When he goes in for challenge he always goes in 110%.
Don't get me wrong, I understand why a penalty was given. You're certainly asking for trouble by doing that especially with the garbage ref we were handed. But I do not think it was intentional.
I'm sorry, I just don't agree with you. It's a blatant handball...not a visible hand-to-ball movement, but there's nothing "natural" about having your arm that high. Normally when you raise your arm it's to block your face. Carragher is not blocking his face. And what does the "110%" cliched bullshit have to do with this? By raising his arm high, he's giving 110%?
