Luis wrote:So it looks like we have no Ngog, definately no Torres for this game and Kuyt is doubtful as well.

That would mean us playing something like this:

    ----------------------Reina----------------------------

    --Johnson-------Carra---------Kygriakos----------------Agger----------------

    ------------------Masch------------Lucas-----------------------------------------

    ---Yossi-----------------Aquilani--------------------Gerrard-------------------

    -----------------------------Babel-----------------------------------------------

    affraid

I like that lineup. It is certainly preferable to Rafa's favoured selection. It'll be hip shot city from Babel, Aqua and Gerrard but it will at least be watchable. The chances of Kuyt not playing however are slim.

Can't wait for this one. I hope Rafa doesn't decide to drain away my excitement before the match even begins with his selection.

No mention about Lucas being shit and the like from yourself... fucking hell!!! cyclops Shocked affraid cheers

In regards to the team, we played shit last week but Atleti weren't much better themselves but considering it's at home and if we play that team I'm fully confident we can win tomorrow.

Looking forward to tonight! I just hope we score first as then I think we would then go on to win by a few goals like we did vs Benfica. If they score first then I fear it would be beyond us with no Torres.

    scratch

Have you never been to a game not involving Liverpool? If so then you're quite sad.

Btw, I currently live in Hammersmith. The stadium is a stone's throw from my house and one of my mates is a season ticket holder and offered to buy tickets.

    WHY wouldn't I go Question

I'm sad for not going to support another team to the one I support? lol!

I just find it a bit sad this Fulham bandwagon bollocks. Yes they've done very well in this competiton but all this patronising makes me feel a little bit sick. If Bolton got to a semi final I certainly wouldn't go and see them <Ale>

Well I'm not the one who comes wading in criticising someone for going to a game for a team that they don't support with a couple of friends, am I?

Tweeds, I made a comment because 2 Arsenal fans are going to the Fulham game. I just find it odd, I wouldn't really like too many none-Liverpool fans taking up seats at Anfield tonight.

Nothing wrong with seeing other teams play, done it many times myself and I've had a great time every time.

In the same circumstances as Tweeds I'd certainly go.

Well Fulham have a neutral stand anyway - they embrace the neutral there.

And I have a soft spot for Fulham anyway, what with them having done well on a small buget, having a nice manager and what with them being the 2nd closest football club to where I live. These factors + the fact that they're playing those nasty Jarmans mean I'll be giving them my 100% support tonight.

Well I think if you're a fan of football then you WOULD go to see other teams. Like you, I do it all the time! I think its an enriching experience and I find it narrow-minded to only ever want to go and see YOUR team. Anyway, I've moved around a fair bit. Used to go and see woking play a lot when I lived out there + Crystal Palace and Wimbledon a fair bit. Then went ti uni in Leeds and went to see a fair few Leeds games (back when they were in the EPL). Then I moved to Islington and saw a combination of Arsenal and Charlton games and now that I liver in Hammersmith I see a lot of QPR and Fulham games.

The only reason I said something was because Allez and Tweedle both said they were going in quick succession then Tweedle said I was sad for not going to see other teams Rolling Eyes For your information I've had the unfortunate experience of going to see Everton vs Fulham at Woodison around 4 years ago.

Fair enough, I do go along with that belief as well.

Bit harsh to call someone sad for just going to see his team play though Laughing At least Luis is one of few on this board who goes to see his home club play regularly ok
