    4 outta 5 ain't bad.

I assume that the full set didn't happen because fate is saving up for a win in the semi final next week Biggrin

If it's a draw after 90 does it go to extra time?

He was just pissed off that he never gets subbed to preserve him for more important games.

He does get taken off, but it normally torres first then him. Maybe he thought he would be next.

Every player gets taken off occasionally.

Gerrard is clearly jealous that he's now only the second most important player at the club.

Though I was amused by the MOTD comments that he was thinking 'now I have to do it all on my own' as though the rest of Liverpool's team were half-crippled free transfers rather than one of the most expensively assembled squads in world football.

It was a shocking decision to take him off when they need to win the game if they want to finish in the top four. I was not surprised to see Gerrard stare daggers at the bench when it happened. This Premier League article on Wayne Rooney reckons a reduced number of teams in the top flight would stop players getting injured and tired so much, Liverpool would love that idea but i would hate it. Its interesting that these arguments only come up when players at Liverpool, United and Arsenal are suffering. No one mentions that Fulham have played almost 60 games this season so far, and they are doing it with a tiny squad in comparison.
