The addition of Pandev and the realisation that Muntari is horseshit instantly gives them a chance to play a bit better.

Inter would do a job on the current Barca lineup playing tonight but Barca back to full strength is a big ask for any team.

They played 4-4-2 diamond, Sneijder was missing though. I think he'll go 4-2-3-1, it's working well for them.

Really not looking forward to this...almost feels like a chore. Dread to think of the upcoming buildup to this tie - no doubt there'll be the same old bullshit windups and nonsense comments from Mourinho, and more boring park the bus football with 0-0 being a "very good result in the 1st leg" for Inter

I'm not really sure what to predict for this tie. The group stage games were surprisingly comfortable for Barça (IIRC Messi and Ibrahimovic didn't even play in the 2-0 win), but then again Inter have improved a lot in their ability on the ball since then, and semifinals have a totally different level of tension.

Chore, eh? I have a feeling that you are in for a surprise... IMO Inter will attack Barca, or at least start the games in that formation with 3 strikers supported by midget. First leg, its important not to conceed an away goal, but in Barcelona, don't expect the same gameplan as last time... and certainly don't expect the open spaces Arsenal allowed you....

Inter have been two very different teams with and without the midget. He needs to be fit for these games.... Its a big disadvantage that we play at home in the first leg, specially coz its Barcelona.

Either ways, it will be fun...

As Puro already pointed out, i see a lot of similarity between this tie and the one with Milan in 2006.
Maybe Inter will win, but we will score, im sure of that. Im talking about the game in Milano, and as long as we score im not so pesimistic that we will outscore them in both legs.
I just hope everybody stays fit and we dont have problems with injuries or bookings.
