Bayern should be but it depends on what they do in the summer. Hopefully they will build on this by getting some good defenders. It doesn't fit Bayern to be this woeful defensively. If they don't improve then I can see them continuing to be outside the big clubs. Can't imagine that Bayern won't improve though because they are in a good financial postion as German clubs are.

That's really not the case though. If I could be bothered I'd list all the non EPL fans who are incredibly active on these boards, just as many as there are EPL fans. Look how many posts you Germans contribute for example- the mannshaft thread has more replies than any of the England national team thread.

I honestly reckon the reason this game hasn't been built up so much is that its on a Saturday when most people will be out doing other things. Wednesday night is so much better a day to have it for the neutrals watching on tv

And if they had more eye catching teams with bigger names. Both teams have managers who have more charisma than every player put together.

I agree with blut on here. He is 100% spot on. This is mainly an english based board with just a few frontiers from other countries..

We had for year too many club teams from the same country and that was boring as hell. Tonight we at least get a clash of styles which can make it very intersted.

Yeah Dutchies have Van Gaal, Robben, Van Bommel and some of you ricardo + Axe few others are almost German citizens. The hardcore dutch like Fey i doubt are swayed by such small things. It's true UK isnt interested but this board doesn't reflect that only it's in part to other things. But i personally am reasonably interested wouldn't care if i missed it though.

I think it's a great final. The best possible tie from the combination of semi finalists we had. We should have an intriguing game to watch tonight. My only worries are Howard Webb and the averageness of Bayern's football but maybe they will prove me wrong later.

I dont have much problems that there aren't many posts on this topic, i thought the Chelsea - Inter match thread was ridicoulus with 30+ pages before the game even started. I didn't read all these hooving over the players and other shit.
It maybe also says a bit that both teams are actually teams and no superstar clustered products. So the individuals don't face to much attention on here.

I'm looking forward to the game. Can't say I'm particularly excited about any one player however, despite there being a host of good players on show. Shame Ribery won't be playing, though I guess watching Lucio is always enjoyable, and hopefully Balotelli + Muller get some playing time.

I hope it's a wonderful spectacle, and may the best team win (I think it will be Inter)!
