btw, interesting to note that both teams in the final have a chance of a treble. Has this happened before?

I'm glad to see it...it's not a case of Liverpool-esque CL campaigns where they ignore their league and rest everybody just for the one off CL games.

Yeah, he's missing that's why he is up against motta (ok thats hard to get, i didn't even know how that motta guy looks like until i googled him up)

hahah, just got that, my mistake...it's just that you couldn't really tell Inter were playing with 10 men...

Bayern under Van Gaal do play the possession game also, but they are considerably more direct than Barca. And they are more physical, not easy to intimidate or bully.

It's going to be an exciting final I think. A lot of potential drama, too. Van Gaal vs. his old assistant Mourinho, both arrogant pricks of the highest order. Lucio vs. his former club, Robben vs. his former coach, Sneijder vs. Robben from the Real Madrid perspective, playing at the Bernabeu etc.

If the right ref calls had been made it would have been an all italian final. Fiorentina vs Inter.

Fiorentina had an offside goal also, a fact often 'forgotten'.

And no offence, but I don't think that they would have overcome Man United in the 1/4 finals.

Bayern deserve to be in the final, as does Inter.

So far just browsed through nobody mentioned Lucio against his former club as well. This one is 50/50 a bit of a kickback to the old days.

Impressive from those guys. Inter should win it going by logic but with German teams I will never say anything is certain even if it is against italians.

the uefa principles say an assault is only when the ball is away and the attack only goes to the player, not the ball, this is here not the case

normally ribery should be banned for 1 match

Bar barca making the final, i couldn't be much happier with the two finalist.

They are giving people a certain segments of the football media(mainly the english) a big Fack u.

Too often I've heard Germany club football just isn't up to stand, Italian club football is this or is that, now all the naysayers can go jump off a bridge.

for this one by head says inter, but i want bayern to win, I just can't deal with all the Jose hype, mostly by himself if inter win.

but if inter wins that would be 3 CL title for eto'o, by far the greatest striker of his generation.

Whoever will win this final, Van Gaal or Mourinho, will join the very exclusive club of managers who have won the CL / European Cup with two different clubs. So far, only Happel (Feyenoord and HSV) and Hitzfeld (Dortmund and Bayern) have managed to do that.
