I think the real reason is that Inter is the "away" team for the final. Like I said in another thread, Bayern is allowed to choose the shirt and dress up in the Real dressing room.

Maybe, since he can pass the ball well, especially from deep areas. Stankovic runs more though and Mourinho probably prefers that.

Nah, I haven't been that impressed with Chivu as a DM... I mean he does his defensive duties well and can pass, but has less work rate and is less of an attacking threat than Stanko. Cambiasso + Stanko is a better combo than Cambiasso + Chivu.

The other option is playing Chivu at LB and Zanetti at DM, something I suspect Mou prefers, as Chivu is more defensive as a LB than Zanetti.
