I think the real reason is that Inter is the "away" team for the final. Like I said in another thread, Bayern is allowed to choose the shirt and dress up in the Real dressing room.

Not that it really matters in a neutral location, but why the hell are Inter always the away / 2nd leg away side .... against Chelsea, CSKA & Barcelona we had the 2nd leg away, the least they could ve done is made us the home side in the final! I know its too early to talk about it, but baring injuries, I would like to see the following Inter turn up:

    Cesar
    Maicon - Lucio - Samuel - Zanetti
    Stankovic - Cambiasso
    Eto'o - Sneijder - Pandev
    Milito

Bench: Toldo, Chivu, Cordoba, Santon, Mariga, Muntari, Quaresma, Balotelli

Maybe, since he can pass the ball well, especially from deep areas. Stankovic runs more though and Mourinho probably prefers that.

Nah, I haven't been that impressed with Chivu as a DM... I mean he does his defensive duties well and can pass, but has less work rate and is less of an attacking threat than Stanko. Cambiasso + Stanko is a better combo than Cambiasso + Chivu.

The other option is playing Chivu at LB and Zanetti at DM, something I suspect Mou prefers, as Chivu is more defensive as a LB than Zanetti.

Chelsea ended the league season with an 8-0 exclamation point on top of Wigan's head and took the title by a point over Man Utd.

Barcelona looks set to win the Liga next week by a point over Real Madrid.

    Bayern won the Bundesliga yesterday.

IF Inter wins the CL final, we will have done something very few CL winners have done and that is having beaten the champions of the major Euro leagues in the course of the CL campaign.

    Think about it Ale
