Don't have a clue, he's pretty piss poor to be fair. Too reliant on Eto'o.

    Should've done more against Japan.

I never claimed that Africa would win a lot of games. In fact I don't think any of the Africans on here have. You are thinking of the SOUTH AMERICANS dude. I just want them to do well. Also you can't exactly compare since Europe has a lot more teams then Africa.

Denmark have to be careful now, and not go all defensive. Cameroon have created a lot of dangerous moves but their goal only came from a ridiculous mistake by the Danes. So the 2-1 isn't exactly an undeserved scoreline. Great goal by Rommendahl, Robben-esque. I was surprised when he shot with his left foot.

This is the 4th or 5th time that I've noticed one of the Cameroon players (either Etoo dropping back or one of the midfielders pushing up) finding themselves in a little pocket of space between the Danish defense and midfield lines. Not sure what the Danish DMs are doing Doh

Denmark could do with another goal, as that would (i think) put them ahead of Japan on goals scored. Which flips over who goes through in case of a draw in their final game..

Not a good reader there are you Question
Where did I say that Africa deserves more spots. My point was that comparing amount of wins between continents doesn't make sense unless you have equal amount of teams in the competition and that isn't the case here.

Actually I've saw a few times, when Poulsen was doing it properly, mostly on Eto'o dropping deep.

    Really good save by Sorensen.

I don't want to agree with you because your intentions with this argument are not football-related.

But since you've raised the point, yes, I've been very disappointed by the African teams so far, esp. considering this was widely considered a "home" tournament for them.

I think the big problem I've noticed is the high difference in quality of their players - you have a few superstars that play at the highest level with CL clubs, but the rest are far far away in the footballing hierarchy, stuck at small teams in small leagues.

On the other hand, if you compare "small" countries from South America or Asia, their players tend to all be from more or less a similar football demographic - either the vast majority of them play at similar levels in foreign leagues, or at the top level in their domestic league.

Just a theory, I haven't gone through all the squads and verified it so someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

The other thing I don't like and what IMO hurts African teams, is the use of foreign coaches. And specifically the way in which they are rapidly rotated. If you're going to hire a foreigner, give him time to understand the culture and the players and build the project properly.
