To come back on that Denmark game, I sadly watched it during a BBQ but what I seen from it was just the most entertaining so far. Kinda feel for Cameroon, they didnt do anything wrong yet they have 0 points and Holland has 6. They are better then Ghana for sure.

Funny to see Rommedahl performing better then ever, though he had a pretty decent season anyway. Tomasson played well to, still missing sitters but thats JDT!

Take it easy, Puro, in the next WC Africa will have 5 spots again and South America will have 1 extra spot, since Brazil will host. That will be our WC, believe me. I expect 4 South Americans to reach the quarters in the next WC.

I expect 4 to reach the quarter finals NOW. And I wouldn't be surprised that THREE reach the semifinals in 2014. Brasil the hosts, Argentina with Messi in his peak, and Perú the great revelation in 2014 WC just like in 1936 Berlin Olympics, 1970 México WC, 1978 Argentina WC.

WE WILL MAKE IT in 2014, and WE'LL BE IN IT to beat Argentina for the right to play against you in the Final, and try to destroy you in your own house in front of over 150 thousand just like when we crushed you in Copa América semifinals in the 70's, and the way Uruguay fucked you all up in 1950.

    Wise.

Personally i'ld put Afellay on De Jongs place because he is made for that position. If you want to control the game, like Van Marwijk wants, than Afellay is the best player for that. He is one of the strongest ball controllers in our team.

On the other hand, VdV is perhaps even better in it but his main problem is that he wants to help the team too badly with a result he goes out of position.

An extra plus with putting Afellay at the DMF place is. You can swap position with VdV during the game if it is needed.

Yeah its called "High dynamic range" (HDR) technique. Have done some of these too.

So will you save some of your players like in 2008 or trying to play nearly your best lineup to get get the right "flow" for the Italy clash?

2008, wasn't a good idea on hindsight, so now we'll try to keep/build momentum. Will be very close to the starting line-up in the prev matches. De Jong and/or vd Wiel will be replaced by De Zeeuw & Boulah. Maybe Robben will get some playing time.

Because of our collapse last time (EC2008) after we played our reserves. We do not want to lose momentum now. That's the reasoning behind this.

Didn't know we had any momentum yet.

Our collapse in 2008 had nothing to do with playing our reserves (I still think that was the right choice), it had everything to do with the Boulahrouz miscarriage.

I always liked the Japanese, they are the Germans of Asia.

Nothing against the Danes either though, they probably are our most popular neighbour. I'm neutral, may the best team win.
