    incidentally,

Müller and Özil have one thing in common

    their favourite SITCOM is

    "Two and a Half Men"

    Smile

I wonder who they identify with Whistle

    blut

I like Khedira A LOT as a footballer and think he will succeed Ballack eventually

    BUT

he has shown VERY FEW defensive sensibilities

he plays like an 8 100%

Löw's idea was that Schweini and Sami would SHARE defensive and offensive responsibilities

but this is just not happening

it's just not SENSITIVE of Sami

how is that going to make Schweini FEEL, me wonders ?

Noah and the Bale wrote:Muller does the simple things well. I'm not sure he's as good as you guys think he is, given that against England neither of his goals were particularly difficult, all the hard work had been done by others, and up against top class defences in the CL he struggled,
He struggled with his finishing, but all the other elements were already there, aften overlooked because of him not being a profilic goalscorer.

Agree that with all the Ozil hype, he isn't necessary better than Muller at this tournament.

Otto, won't disagree with that at all, criticised Khedira for the same reasons myself. But still, he wasn't too shabby in the first two matches.

Oezil has been great at this tournie but we'll have to wait to see if he can do it the CL - he is not that quick* (not slow mind) and is very slight.

    * Don't mention the incident where he skinned Barry 'cos...

YOUNG FIFA World Cup player - Page 2 X657

...would have the beating of Gaz Baz in a foot race.

He needs to move to a top league so we can see how he does.

What does this mean for Kroos in the national team ?

    Doesn't look good.

Özil has been the fastest player on the pitch in numerous matches, Pierre. He is quite pacy actually.

He already plays in a top league. Ale

Would they be against Aus and Serbia ?

IE games where there is not much pace in either of the 2 teams ?

Coentrao has been quality all year around for Benfica, so I was not surprised that he did well in the WC

And he has room to grow

Remember, this is the kid 1st year as LB. He started as LW,it's is original position

Super, the most interesting thing about Müller (but also Özil, albeit in a different context) is his game intelligence, his runs without the ball, hence the nickname "Phantom". Skills, pace and hard work are one thing, but what makes him a truly great talent is his football brain, or 'instinct' even.
That is true he is a smart player. Will be interesting to follow him in Cl and in general to see which position he will take up. Gaal will use him as a SS in his 4-4-2 as long as Robben is there but I like him in a Kuyt role too.

I knew he was a converted winger but he has seemed out of place defensively.

    ok

The only game he was more hard pressed was yesterday, and only after Danny came in, just because Danny never gave any support on the wing, and always drifted to the middle giving all the space of the world to Spain on that flank

I really fail to see where the kid was bad defense wise, after having to endure IC, Brazil and Spain attackers and not making one mistake or being caught out of place.

I don't think Own Goal's been putting his weight in. Gone completely missing in the KO stages. Clearly not a big game player on the international stage.

Has to be Mueller...amazing what van Gaal did with him. Germany has to thank van Gaal a lot for what he did this year. Same as Holland though, mind.

This tournament is showing that van Gaal is a better coach then Mourinho imo. FFS I believe the entire Bayern team is still in the WC.
