They can't. You can't have more than 1 country per confederation in a single group. Europe is the exception because they are Fifa darlings and have more than 10 spots. In Europe's case, the max is 2 per group.

    For future World Cups:

CONMEBOL 8 teams: Perú and Paraguay have a lot more quality than all that euro shite. TFS!

    CONCACAF 4 teams: pretty obvious

UEFA 10 teams: the group winners and two more awful teams who just make up the numbers any way.

AFRICA: FUCK! how can they legimately claim 5 teams anymore when their football is shite. When they struggle so much against euro shite...that's telling!

ASIA: 3 teams at most. CONCACAF make a good case for their spots but Asia???

Anyway, I for one can't wait for Copa América, CONMEBOL (everybody can play good fooball) plus USA, México, Costa Rica, Honduras, Panamá, and one CONCACAF shite to make up the numbers UEFA style.

Copa América = the real World Cup minus the two best Euros of the month. TFS!

You have tasted some Euroblood..however this was Latin blood..which tastes a lot like your own blood though with less catinga smell and a strong fruity forestly aftertaste.

However, my good equator friend..you havent had Germanic blood yet. Its dark and has a very muddy taste. Infact very few South Americans ever had the chance to experience this rare opportunity..some ancient medicineman like Ronaldinho or Ronaldo might have a tiny flask left...for the rest mere rumors of it that spread around the jungle like them old stories from the Incas..

Winter is coming to SA..and the North is on the move..

    Todo

The WC started with two Portugese speaking nations and 9 Spanish speaking nations.

    Now its 1/2 and 3/9

The two native Dutch speaking nations are still in it. You think the Dutch speakers can make it a clean sweep?

What's the other Dutch-speaking nation? Belgium? Don't they speak Flemish and French? Is Flemish a dialect from Dutch?

Let's see WC titles by language:

    Portuguese: 5 titles
    Spanish: 5 titles
    Italian: 4 titles
    German: 3 titles
French and English: 1 title each

    Latin languages/countries: 15 titles
    Anglo-Saxon languages/countries: 4 titles

That's wrong mate, the word you looking is Germanic, the Anglo-saxon are a Germanic tribe, just like the Franks btw. So we can argue about France. And no, Germanic doesnt refer to just Germany.

Nontheless, Latin people are better in football, that's for sure. Do have a bit more people though.

And yes, Flemish is a Dutch dialect.

Thanks for the info. In Portuguese, though, Anglo-Saxonic and Germanic are synonyms when applied to languages (even if it's technically wrong, we can say that English is a "língua anglo-saxônica" or a "língua germânica").

So them Belgians like to say that Flemish is another language just to make it look cool.  Ale

    7-2.  Wink

That's not a good excuse, Fey. Amerishite also did that (Ecuador).

European wins up to now: Switzerland 2-1 Ecuador; Holland 2-0 Chile.

It would be nice to have South Americans and Euros well disributed to see how many would reach the semis. Unfortunately, we can only have 2 in the semis. I'd like to see games like Colombia-Belgium, Germany-Uruguay, France-Chile...
