He shouldn't be in both the under-21's & senior squad. It would have been better if Capello and Pearce came to some sort of arrangement, he's only 18 and played in all our games so far this season. They haven't learned the lesson after Walcott in the summer of 2009 where he got injured shortly after representing the seniors and the Under-21's in their European Championships.

Fucking hell England has a poor squad by the looks of it, but impressive from Capello that he started the campaign so good. On the other hand England used to look decent on paper and that didnt work either.

Can anyone explain to me why they cancelled the proper football for more than a week before the England game? Why aren't England playing this weekend, or alternatively why is there no EPL this weekend?

Weeks designated for international fixtures always = no top flight football.

England ain't playing because the # of teams in the group means all can't play every slot. Not sure why they didn't fit in a friendly though.

Can't say he's been stellar for us, but there's been some signs of form. At least he's popping up with the odd goal these days.

Woo. Although it means we'll be playing the utterly non-match-fit partnership of Ferdinand-Lescott instead.

Would hope for him to give Cahill a shot in this match, but general cowardice will see him pick the other two.

Given how poor Rooney has been, I might be happier with Crouch and Davies. With Jinky and Young on the wings we might even get some decent crosses.

I am going to this tomorrow incidentally.

Montenegro are seriously underrated and most people seem to be expecting even a makeshift England to crush them.

My worry would be the defence - Lescott and Ferdinand barely played this season and Johnson barely a footballer. 3/4 dodgy is not a good look..
