The quality of the CL is obviously higher, but the prestige of the World Cup is what makes it important.

Players may only get the chance of playing in maybe 4 world cups, but they can play in the CL every year. However normally you get the better players playing for the top teams in the CL, whereas you get the likes of Rob Green playing in the world cup.

Great logic as always 110% worth full of shite. Ben Foster played in the CL. The top players of the top nations play in a world cup. The quality would only be different due to the countries not being total teams like club sides not in terms of players.

The CL is faster, more exciting and the draws after every round make it better IMO. Fuck knowing who you're going to play in the semi's from the start, takes the excitement away.

Thanks for your shite contribution as always.

Is your point to have a go at me and then say the same thing, but be too stupid to realise it?

That's such silly argument, ask any player, from any country, of any age what title he would rather have.

This is a once in a lifetime for an entire generation. A victory that will be remembered in details for ever. Until this day we know that Germany beat the almost invincible Hungary team in the 1954 final.

How about the 58 WC where a South American team for the first time in history won the cup playing in Europe territory, the first of many titles of Brazil in this competition. Everybody knows how a 17 years kid scored in that final and entered in the history of football. Or the 1986 when Maradona dazzled the world and won almost by himself that cup.

Who will not remember in ten years from now that Iniesta scored the sole goal that gave Spain their first world champion title. Please, its no even close the glamour, prestige and professional fulfillment.

I have no idea who won the CL in 95, just a few years ago. Or how was that final, who scored the goals. Mourinho always talks from his ass, of course now that he won he will act like its the biggest glory in the history of football (and its is HUGE GLORY)

But lets be honest. Its no even close.
