This is just awful and it did not need to be like this. City arent so great that we couldnt have won here today but Hodgson has given us no chance.
Gerrard won't be able to influence the attack at all against 3 CMs without leaving us incredibly exposed. And he's already been responsible for one goal being conceded. Even Masch + Lucas would have been preferable.

Roy had no say in Yossi going and we replaced him with Cole anyway.

We could have been putting out an attacking midfield with 3 of Cole, Aquilani, Gerrard, Maxi or Pacheco. Would have been great to watch and hardly lacking workrate either.
