Having Barcelona play a bunch of guys with canes and walkers is a bit cruel IMO.

To expect the geriatrics to win 5-0 is just plain Otto-esque

Barcelona would win due to greater team cohesion. Pele, Romario, Ronaldo would be getting in each other's way up front, trying to boost their individual goal tallies to prove who is the best Brazilian forward ever, while Barcelona would dominate possession in centre midfield. Garrincha would be isolated, get bored and go to the bar to get drunk, leaving Cafu with too much to do on the right. This would give the spaces for Messi and Villa to find openings and eventually provide goals to win 3-2 (Villa x2, Messi; Romario, Ronaldo).

IMHO the 1995 Coca-Cola Cup winning Liverpool side would beat Barcelona 6-0

No shit his free kicks are unrepeatable - they were flukes. Even Bob Carlos couldn't repeat them, and in truth his free kick record is pretty average.
