Yes. He was rewarded for being injured, cheating on his wife and throwing his toys out of the pram with a massive salary hike. No wonder he's no longer interested in actually playing football well.

He makes his living fouling the opposition GK at every set-piece Rolling Eyes

As for Wazza, the writer makes a very good point about him playing 440 games, he's only just turned 25.

Huth ss a decent defender. Big, strong, wins most stuff in the air. Not too bad when he's one on one with an attacker. Not very quick though.

Well if you salary's increased you should have more motivation to do well... I know I would do my job way better. But it's true he's just come back from injury so he needs more time.

Your job is probably vastly underpaid. Rooney went from being massively overpaid, to being even more massively overpaid for failure. If you reward failure, people will carry on failing. If you punish failure, or at least hold people accountable for it, then standards improve. The carrot and the stick, innit.

Rooney has always blown hot and cold, going 10 games scoring every match then another 10 without a goal. His current slump is more than that. He was quite good against Blackburn, and quite good against Sunderland, but was back to being shit against Brum. That's as consistent as he's been since March. He hasn't got it mentally, which is where it really counts. Maybe the old soak will sort him out, but it wouldn't surprise me to see the 200K p/w man shipped out in the summer.

Rooney is done, but perhaps its better this way so Carroll can be England´s undisputed nr 9.

Huth is shit. Last I knew they play him right back (where he can barely function) solely for the purpose of jumping into people at set pieces. Total wanker and should be kicked out football, as should his club Ale

Also, Rooney's been cack for months. Wouldn't totally write him off yet though

My job is fine and financially I am doing great. No worries, and that's not what I wanted to say. He gets paid £140k a week, plus bonuses and incentives for winning tittles and scoring goals, he should be really happy in life, like anyone would be, and he should manage needs to score more to show his loyalty to his club and to pay back the huge amount they have invested in him.

Rooney has always been at least a bit overrated, but he has been rank this season. Anyone else and he would be on the bench, if that.
