Top 7 Kimbo considering our current position but it isn't really about league position now. It's about what you've seen today, an attempt to actually play football and look like a football team rather than Roy's nonsense.

Couldnt believe that myself. He's done okay in parts..but he's done nothing special, cheated, and missed several chances.

Giggs and Evra have both been much better.

From our side I think Lucas and Kelly were as good as anyone on the pitch

No idea why they have rewarded the cheating

    Ahh, shame.

Lost to a the most ridiculous penalty award you'll see this season. Even outside the box that wouldn't have been given. We saw several other penalty shouts that were far more likely to be given as pens but weren't because Webb knew he'd made a blunder in the first minute. I mean this guy officiated the World Cup final didn't he? Crazy.

As for our performance, I'm really happy with it. We played football for the first time in a long time. We reverted back to the formation that worked so well under Rafa and makes the most sense for the players we have at our disposal. Konchesky was no way near the team sheet. Merieles was in the centre, even though he had a shocking game.

The commitment and togetherness was there from the minute Gerrard got sent off. We worked really hard, too hard perhaps because Kuyt and Lucas were absolutely knackered by the end of it.

Torres still looked nothing like his former self. Don't know the reason for this, just have to hope he can re-discover his form sometime this season.

Kelly was our MOTM, he was awesome and showed why he has to start in the defence either ahead of Johnson or ahead of Carragher.

It hurts to lose to United and get knocked out the FA cup but I'm optimistic about the rest of the season, which is what this appointment was really all about. I finally think we might actually win a few games away from home now.

And now we've got Stuart Pearce in Afghanistan. This is quite a weird cup draw.

Was easily our best player, (apart from Gomes) up at Sunderland last season, very impressive against Portsmouth as well in the league, plus he was awesome in pre-season.

Can easily see us shipping Hutton out just so he can play within a year.

I hate to disrupt your rampant conspiracy theorising but it is the sponsors who choose the MOTM, not the pundits. And both Fatty and Southgate said it wasn't a penalty.

But hey, you're a Liverpool fan, why let the facts get in the way of a victim complex?

    Arsenal or Leeds - Huddersfield

Worth putting out a strong team for our replay considering it's a kind draw for the next round.

    Everton - Chelsea

    Southampton - Man Utd

What bullshit? The only Liverpool fan laughing is you.

Is Rosenthal a Liverpool fan now ?

No, nor did he say it was 50-50.

I've blamed Gerrard and called him idiotic. I've blamed Webb for falling for the Berbatov dive. The game should be tied at 0-0.

This is what you actually said:

    COTR wrote:Speechless

What the hell is the point

Then, after you realised no one was buying the idea it was a wrong decision:

COTR wrote:As Messiah said he didn't give any reds when players where assualting chests with Kung Fu kicks in the WC final

Strange turnaround to give one for a slightly mistimed lunge that didn't hurt the player

Then when you realised no one was buying that horseshit:

COTR wrote:It was a 50/50 call as many have said here. Fucking idiotic of Gerrard but no surprise to see which way Webb called it.

Some BEAUTIFUL backtracking here POLR. From 'speechless' to it was a 'slightly mistimed lunge' to 'idiotic of Gerrard' in 14 minutes. And that's overlooking your claim that 'many' were saying it was 50-50, when it was only you saying that.

What a diabolical human being you are.

    @ Inbred Twat

Rosenthal said it was harsh and could have been a yellow. Now unless you are being literal to a fucking T that implies he isn't agreeing it was a clear cut red hence I am right, hence fuck off

I called Gerrard an idiot for the challenge, hence assigned blame to him, hence didn't assign blame to Hodgson so again, fuck off

But then again when you are consistently posting your clueless horseshit you simply use the excuse that you do it on purpose. You are wrong but you don't care.

Best defender according to some people Cooper, I think our 4 main CB's are quite average. Him being good on the ball covers up his flaws for many Liverpool supporters. He's isn't bad just overrated these days. I think Kelly has showed us that he is the only one capable of defending and remember, he's naturally a CB.

His career faded rather swiftly in the last few years. But probably still more likely to score than Jo.
