Christ, scummy Stoke and Birmingham both get nice home draws AGAIN Grr They'll probably get each other in the semi, so the final is ruined too.

ManU away - great Rolling Eyes

But let's get past Orient 1st: dodgy pitch, too many out of form squad players = a potential banana skin.

Rosicky scores for the first time in more than a year. Yikes

Nice little header as well from a Bendtner cross.

Probably a bit too much to expect two Rosicky goals in one day. We're controlling this game well at the moment, but whilst there is only one goal in it we are far from safe in this match.

Miguel has been pretty impressive so far but playing next to Squillaci anybody can look half decent. Chamakh is very low on confindence he really could do with a goal to get him goin.

And there we go. Equaliser with their first shot on target. Great individual effort, utterly woeful defending. Arshavin had hit the post a couple of minutes earlier. Shot went right through Almunia as well. A proper keeper would have saved it.

Oh well. Another game for the fixture congestion. I actually thought we played fairly well, at least in comparison to our previous FA cup games this season. It's another black mark against the fringe players/reserves who have struggled against lower league opposition yet again. Poor goal to concede, but well done to Orient.

    Rolling Eyes

Though the way it works out, it's better this way than to have to play United at OT four days after Barca. Same XI should play in the replay as punishment. Song and Sagna did OK; Miquel had a good debut bar the equaliser.God knows what the hell is the matter with Chamakh.

It could work out better for us really. Wenger isn't going to play a full strength line-up at OT. An extra game could only be a good thing for our squad players - keeps them match fit, better this way than going to OT having not played a competitive match for a long time.

FA Cup is the new Carling Cup Razz

Posted this on the Arsenal thread but seeing our fixtures as they are for the next couple of weeks, there is no option but to play the squad players.

Apart from the Carling cup final(I'd even play our best team in that one), I don't think many of them would have played another match before March 12, well maybe 10-15 mins cameos for 2 or 3 of them.

The players are using these game to rack up their appearances for the season, that's why they keep drawing easy games they should win. Bastards!

Der Hammer scores from 25 yards out, 1-0, the ball was all of 4 feet from the keeper, and the keeper couldn't even get a hand to it. 1st game in 5 months and he scores a good goal.

Carlton Coles scores 2 in the first five minutes of 2H. Wham 3 - Burnley - 0.

    Now the fightback.

@DB - Hitzlesperger is pretty bright too I believe. He's pally with Mervyn King, governor of Bank of England and a Villa fan. Volz is quite likeable too.
