Yeah that's why i think he was chasing Torres even though he isn't as such a out and out centre foward

Notice how rooney can play on the left? The amount of timies he's going out there to me suggests he will work well in a 433 it's pretty much his natural game

Evra had a great game, suprised me. Also Utd need to keep Cristiano & Rooney pissed at each other, they seem to play better that way.

Evra is better attacking then defending , very much like A Cole.
A better Dm and he would have more freedom to attack.

i think evra is a good defender also, he made some very good tackles. People wrote him off far to soon.
for scholes i think giggs will play inside, and park comes in for giggs. for rooney well i duno ole or rossi

Giggs doesnt have the vision of Scholes and I hope Rossi gets his chance to replace Rooney.

    Ronaldo ----- O'Shea ----- Giggs ----- Park

    ---------------- Saha ------- Rossi

Fletcher, Richardson and Ole on the bench.

The defence picks itself after today until Heinze is fully fit.

Weren't you one of the ones that wrote him off

I always knew he was capable of that he just hasn't showed it, wait till we have Carrick and maybe hargreaves in the centre he usually is a very good crosser of the ball can score goals and take people on. I still think he is lacking a bit of match fitness though which showed occasionaly . He is very much like Cashley Cole in that he is often thought of as a wing back but is very underrated defensively, he's good in the tackle.

Maybe there seeing how they will fair without him.

They've been after Van Bommel all summer, selling Hargreaves £15 million and buying Van Bommel for around £5 million would be great for them as well as for us.

    they aren't stupid Wink

Van Bommel has been criticised a lot in the press in Spain. They say he is too slow, poor technique, doesn't score the goals, too rough etc. He hasn't delivered yet, so there has been a lot of speculation about him leaving. However, he seems to be quite happy under Rijkaard. Personally I wouldn't mind selling him if we got a player like Mascherano or another young prospect.
