Apparently Kelly, Agger, Johnson, Gerrard and Aurelio are all injured for us (and Caroll as well)

Hopefully Suarez can steal a goal for us, we've only got 1 or 2 goal scorers in the side which is worrying.

Shocking Ref bias to ManU or should we be shocked any more. Rooney makes an obvious off the ball, elbow to a player's head/ear and the ref sees it enough to talk to him about it. No red or yellow card. Disgusting.

Decent first half but just couldn't get the goal. Had a number of chances towards the end of half, but loose balls just weren't falling right when keeper made saves, Bent failed to take a very good chance and should've had what looked a clear pen (on dodgy stream) - somehow it stays 0-0.

Hope we don't come to regret that...really need 3 pts today, can't keep drawing.

Great start to second. Young nicks in front of defender to win ball in box and defender clumsily brings him down in attempt to get it back. Penalty, perfecto ok

Could still get a top half finish Debbie. Looks like today is the day Everton and Villa finally remove themselves from the relegation pack.

It's always been very close from about 9th to 18th. Win today won't be enough to feel safe but it will make it alot healthier-looking. We'll leapfrog Blackburn who are in much more trouble than us if this is a typical performance. They look so slow and half-assed.

    Just gone 2-0 up cheers

And then 3-0 as I carry on typing cheers

Blackburn get Nelsen sent off in injury time to compound their misery - 2nd yellow for taking out Young when he did him for pace.

I'm not exaggerating to say we could've won by 7 or 8. Blackburn truly woeful. Shame we couldn't keep clean sheet, deflected punt from distance. Young, Albrighton and Pires were all great today ok

Helluva win for Wolves to jump out of bottom 3 - while results like that for Blackpool and Wigan do not make their situations look good. Wolves have got a pretty decent run-in and should feel a lot more confident of survival now.

Happened at the same ground last year - Vidic punches Rodallega at 0-0 and United go on to win comfortably.

Could Rooney get a ban retrospectively ?

I've heard this before. More than once...

Was away yesterday, so even didn't see highlights, but very happy for Beckford - it's his 5th and 6th goal in Premier League, pretty good for a free transfer from League 1, who was expected to be Everton's 3rd striker.

There seemed to be some kind of divide in the BBC over the Rooney elbow. Or, at least, the post-match interviewer was singing from a different hymn sheet. The bit where he went 'do you think there should be some kind of witch-hunt?', what kind of a question is that? Did Fergie write the script for him?

It'll be interesting to see where N'Zogbia goes next season anyway.

Wins for Wolves and potentially West Ham liven up the relegation battle. Think Wigan will go down (at last) but after watching Blackburn yesterday, I reckon they could get sucked into it.

Kuyt needs to be thrown upfront with Suarez or Suarez moved to right so get more into the game.

6pts from 10th-20th...anyone there is still in it. Wishful thinking but it'd be lovely if three from Birmingham, Stoke, Blackburn, Wigan go down ok
