    SATURDAY 3RD MARCH

    Liverpool v Arsenal 12:45
    Blackburn v Aston Villa 15:00
    Man City v Bolton 15:00
    QPR v Everton 15:00
    Stoke v Norwich 15:00
    West Brom v Chelsea 15:00
    Wigan v Swansea 15:00

    SUNDAY 4TH MARCH

    Newcastle v Sunderland 12:00
    Fulham v Wolves 14:05
    Tottenham v Man Utd 16:10

    ------------------------------------------------

    Some good fixtures in there.

Wont be able to see any of our game unfortunately but this is our last chance to try and get 4th IMO. Lose and it's certainly all over, draw and we'd need Chelsea and Newcastle to lose, win and we're right back in it.

Think it will be difficult because Arsenal will be on a high after last week and our midfield will be very weak without Gerrard. The loss of Agger is a massive blow as well and could upset the balance in defence.

    Would play:

    ------------------Reina-------------------

    --Johnson-----Carra-------Skrtel--------Enrique-----------

    ---------------Spearing------Adam--------------------------

    ---Bellamy-----------------------------------Downing--------

    ----------------Kuyt---------Suarez-------------------------

Don't usually like 4-4-2 with us anymore but don't see what else we can do. A midfield 3 of Henderson, Spearing and Adam will get us nowhere; we have to take the game to Arsenal because if we let them play they'll destroy us ala Spurs at WHL.

We're not without problems as well.

Belgium played Vermaelen midweek for 90 minutes when he wasn't fully fit and now he's a serious doubt for tomorrow Grr

There are also doubts around RVP and Rosicky but hopefully they'll make it. Beanpole will be back for his customary cameo before picking up an injury and being ruled out for the rest of the season!

Hopefully we see the same team that started last week. If Vermaelen doesn't make it though, Squillaci might start, meaning we should basically forfeit the game.

If we get the first goal i'm quite confident.

Big game for us (although every one of them are) really need to win and hope Spurs do us a favour. Bolton are fighting for their lives and have been better away than at home so it wont be easy but im confident we can do it. Would be nice to set a prem record as well.

It appears VanP and Verm both trained normally yesterday so I think they'll start. Think our starting XI would look pretty similar to that vs Spurs.

    Downing Doh

Had the chance to shoot on an open goal with Sczeszny out of position, but tries a volley with his weaker right foot and fails to even connect with the ball.

Penalty to Liverpool. Looked like a dive from Suarez who rolled around as if he'd had his leg snapped. I'd need to see a replay, but it looked like Suarez trailed a leg looking for contact, and even then I'm not sure there was any. To give credit where it's due, the link up play to win the penalty was superb from Liverpool.

Brilliant double save form Szczesny! Kuyt should have buried the second one though.

Oh, there's a surprise. Comedy own goal from Koscielny. Really poor defending. Arsenal have been very poor today, none of the focus or dynamism that characterised the second half against Spurs.

    cheers

Van Persie! Completely against the run of play, but it's a great cross from Sagna and van Persie with a fine header. Poor defending from Liverpool, both to allow Sagna so much space to cross and for the minimal marking of van Persie.

Kuyt hits the post in stoppage time.

It's good for us to be going in level because we really don't deserve to be. They need to wake up in the second half because every facet of our play has been well below par. Very disappointing that they haven't maintained the performance that they displayed against Spurs.

@ Sheff, There is also a small factor of Liverpool actually turning up, which wasn't the case with Spuds. They're actually a lot better than they were in the final. Don't like the fact that they have Bellamy and Carroll in the bench.

Agree that midfield have been poor. Benayoun I think played 90 minutes midweek so he must be knackered. AOC is on the bench but we need someone to shore up the middle rather than attack at the moment.

Brilliant dive from Suarez but Szezenzey gets away with coming off his line on penalty's again,I wish the officials would start punishing this.

Suarez and Spearing have both been very good, although it's not that hard for Spearing as seen as Arsenals midfield are playing so shit.

We should be winning 2 or 3 nil,Arsenal have only had one chance and that it was probably Carragher fault for letting Van Persie in front of him unchallenged.

Brilliant first half overall,we play so much better without Donkey.Even when Donkey plays good he still gets in the way I feel.....a bit like Ibra for Barca.

    Half time couldn't come sooner

Pool should be running away with this

The thing that grates me the most is the application and attitude. Pool have been fighting for every single ball, closing us down with 3 or 4 men the moment they lose whilst we are just strolling around, giving them acres of space en route to our goal. Yes our football(passing) has been shit but at least try to compensate with hard work and good organisation. There's one man to blame for all this and that is Wenger.

Unbelievable we can play so shit after an amazing performance last week
