    Relegation 2011 Empty Relegation 2011

Post by debaser Mon Feb 28, 2011 4:09 pm

    10 Everton 27 -1 33
    11 Stoke 27 -3 33
    12 Aston Villa 28 -12 33
    13 Fulham 28 0 32
    14 Blackburn 28 -11 32
    15 Blackpool 28 -13 32
    16 Birmingham 26 -10 30
    17 Wolves 28 -15 28
    ----------------------------
    18 West Ham 28 -16 28
    19 West Brom 27 -17 28
    20 Wigan 28 -22 27

Title race may turn into dull Man Utd formality, but it's hard to see relegation being sorted until the very end. It's looking like everyone beginning with B or W is in biggest danger (bar the team who have 2 negatives cancelling out: BW*). Still teams upto 33 points are in it, with them only 6pts above Wigan.

10 or so games to go: who's it to be?

*for super pedants this doesn't count for West Brom because of the stray A in WBA Smile

I actually hope West Ham stay up, admire their fan base.

Wigan, Wolves and West Brom will go down. FACT

Everton, Stoke and Villa have too much to go down IMO and are only a win or two away from being safe. Any of the others could indeed go down.

My money is on West Brom to finish rock bottom. Sacking DM was ridiculous and bringing in Roy was even more ridiculous considering he's lost the plot.

I think Birmingham might be in danger if they rest on their league cup win but again they do have some good players so I'd be surprised.

Wolves will go down. They probably have the poorest quality team in the league along with Blackpool. I think Blackpool will just about survive on the last day.

So that's West Brom and Wolves down, I'll pick Wigan to make it a triple W. Martinez is such a manager who will be relegated, he bent over backwards for United and I hope he gets anally raped himself for this.

I think only Wigan are goners. One of the Blacks may well slip into it, undecided which. And wishful thinkingly speaking, Birmingham's cup success will see them take eye of the ball in league and slump to relegation Ale

Wigan, West Ham and Wolves is my guess. I think it's between the bottom 5, although i would love to see Fulham and their horrible football fuck off.

I tell you what though, Andy Gray, Robbie Savage, Billy Davies, and whatever other twats predicted us to go down. Unlucky. <Ale>

United will most likely have the league wrapped up by then anyway so Fergie will play a weakened team and not recieve a fine.

Blackpool really did get caught up in the wank-fest. I did like Blackpool and Holloway at first but as the season's gone on Holloway's annoyed me a bit. He makes flippant and sweeping statements in every press conference to get attention.

    Sunderland
    Newcastle
    Stoke City
    Everton
    Aston Villa
    Fulham
    Blackburn
    Blackpool
    Birmingham
    WBA
    Wolves
    West Ham Utd
    Wigan Athletic

    I think it's 3 from 13

I don't think Sunderland have won a single point since January.
Newcastle have only won 1 game since mid January.
Everton and Villa are too good to go down, but they definitely might.
    Blackpool's wheels have fallen off.

It's a cliché, but I believe that children are the future.

Newcastle have 1 defeat in 9 games. Relegation form, only 10 games to pick up about 4 points. Crazy

By Glenny's reckoning we might as well say Liver aren't out of it yet. Still to reach the magic 40 mark, despite having easy fixtures vs Wigan and WHam. Haven't won since early Feb, in fact. Will they manage it this weekend or will Wolves and co. further close the gap Question

We are closer to 4th than 18th but I'm just being deluded.
