Post by bluenine Sat Apr 02, 2011 8:03 am

Its the big one, after a long time we have a "Scu-derby", this one will decide the Scudetto.

Good news on the team from, Chivu & Ranocchia seem to have recovered from the injuries they got during international duty... Boateng, Van Bommel, and Pato seem fit for Milan. So the only key players missing from squads are Samuel and Lucio for Inter, and Pirlo, Ambrosini, & Ibra for Milan.

Milan squad: Abbiati, Amelia, Abate, Antonini, Nesta, Papastathopoulos, Thiago Silva, Zambrotta, Yepes, Boateng, Emanuelson, Flamini, Gattuso, Merkel, Seedorf, Strasser, Van Bommel, Cassano, Pato, Robinho

    Inter squad:
Julio Cesar, Castellazzi, Orlandoni; Cordoba, Zanetti, Maicon, Ranocchia, Materazzi, Chivu, Nagatomo; Stankovic, Thiago Motta, Sneijder, Kharja, Mariga, Cambiasso, Obi, Coutinho; Pazzini, Eto'o, Milito, Pandev

prefer Seedorf to fill Pirlo's role, Van Bommel to play as left midfielder, and Boateng as our trequatista

I'm already starting to get nervous... bounce

    latest news:
Pandev looks likely to start ahead of Stanks atm.
Not having Dejan is a real pity, he's the man in the derbies, but I think going 4231 is a better fit tactically.

    Milan's midfield should be
    Gattuso, Seedorf, Flamini
    . . . . . . . Boateng . . . . . . .

Inter are far too vulnerable to the counter attack, just like Milan were last season. Leo obviously hasn't learnt anything.
