Spector over Stuart holden in midfield?? You're having a giraffe.

    Otherwise, would agree with rest

Luiz is the new Vidic - the refs won't touch him. 8 games and apparently he's already a superstar.

Dempsey, too, has had a good season but is a very dirty player and is pretty much never held responsible for it.

Still, Suarez is an even more laughable inclusion. A couple of good games, then nothing, and he goes down like a ten penny whore.

In sum, you've picked a team full of overrated cheats. But then, I suppose this is an American XI so I don't think you had much choice.

Dunno about the refs not touching Luiz: he's given away 2 Pens this season already.

Clearly a fantastic footballer in terms of tekkers, but certainly overhyped after only a few games.

Dempsey might be a little dirty, no more than say Rooney for example, but he is unquestionably worthy of inclusion: carried fulham attacking wise when Zamora and Johnson were injured. Excellent player

I would say Rooney is a very dirty player. That elbow was, while not in the same league as Thatcher on Mendes, still one of the most thuggish things I've seen a player do. No doubt the swearing ban was partly making up for that.

Vidic sometimes gets sent off or has penalties given against him. Still, it's pretty obvious he gets a lot of favours. I see the same, so far, with Luiz. That said, Luiz is probably a very good player, he certainly was in Portugal.

Would we be wrong? Colo has become the most underrated player in the league, fact. <Ale>

Loads of underrated players Kimbo. That's one hell of a factual claim.

More underrated than Odemwingie for example?

He gets his praise. Enrique and Colo are pretty much exactly the same performance-wise, but look at the difference between the attention they get.

People don't like changing their mind about players. Coloccini got a clown reputation in his first season in the PL and that sorta thing sticks.
