I don't remember the incident you are referring to. He was always behind Figo and Ronaldo for penalty taking duties.

Ehm Jaime never said that Zidane never missed penalties. Read his post, he said that Zidane didn't take them for us. I can barely remember Zidane taking any penalties ever either.

    Kanoute confirms:
    "moro de mierda"

If you're going to prosecute by Twitter, here's the defense via Twitter too. Cesc posted this yesterday, complete with a "I have black friends" style argument.

"Quiero desmentir claramente que haya hecho algún tipo de insulto racista hacia algún jugador del Sevilla. Toda la vida he jugado con gente de todo el mundo y todas las religiones, comparto vestuario con un jugador malí, llevo un tatuaje árabe, y mi pareja es libanesa. No hay muestras más evidentes de que no tiene sentido. Ahora a pensar en el Granada que es lo que toca. Un abrazo"

Anyway, the two players have spoken on the phone and sorted out the matter now.

Anyhow, can't believe Levante really. I will be honest, I thought they were completely f*cked when they sold Caicedo. And obviously nobody would think they will stay at the top of the league for the long haul but still it's a great accomplishment for them so far. Even Arouna f*cking Kone looks like a decent forward at the moment. Yikes The stars are definitely aligned.

Levante is a shocking for sure, but that have been playing awesome stuff since the ending of last season and are just carrying over to this season, but to be first in truly shocking.

Ronaldo and higuain in the top 5, if Higuain stays fit, madrid will could win the league, i know people say benzema adds more to the link up play, but what they are failing to see is that jose's tactics throughout is career rarely if ever relied on a ball playing centre forward, its all about getting the ball in the opposition 3rd of the pitch has fast as possible and into to the vocal point of the attack, this is something the were missing last season and what they now have with hig's.

Ref has been shit all night. Every yellow card was too harsh. And now Granada have a player sent off for his 2nd yellow after kicking Maxwell in the face. High boot, yes, but not a yellow, he was genuinely going for the ball and wouldn't have seen Maxwell. This rule is majorly flawed.

And Pedro has gone off injured after twisting his ankle 180 degrees. What a fucking season...new injury in every single match Doh

Messi misses the easiest chance he's had in a while. Already had a poor night - ineffective shooting, and his passes all just that half yard off. Clearly out of form.

Granada have actually looked much better with 10 men...adopting a kind of "nothing to lose, so let's attack" approach. Meanwhile, the Barça attackers are all continuing to have an awful game, especially Messi.

This is one of the worst refereeing performances I've ever seen. Literally everything is a yellow card. What a fucking joker.

    ------------------

Game ends 1-0 to Barça. Lucky win from a terrible, terrible performance. Something is clearly wrong with this team, especially away from home, and so far Guardiola has not addressed it. October-November is usually a period when the team is on fire, stringing win streaks of 15-16 games in a row, building a lead at the top of the table. Instead they're struggling along, plagued by injuries and lots of poor individual performances.

But as it was with Sevilla, i also didn't liked the starting line-up with Granada.

    Results from today:

    Getafe 2-2 Osasuna
    Levante 3-2 Real Sociedad
    Rayo 2-0 Malaga
    Zaragoza 0-1 Valencia
    Mallorca 1-2 Sporting
    Real Madrid 3-0 Villarreal

Ruben scores a 93' minute winner from a direct free kick to keep Levante top of the table. Easy win for Madrid....Garrido surely going to be sacked any day now. A bit hard on him but I suppose they have to try for something else. Roig has said that he is their man but now they are in the relegation zone so there may not be a lot of patience left. Michel being lined up as a replacement according to Marca.

Superb wins for Rayo and Sporting.

Granada and Racing look to be in big trouble, but apart from that, everyone else seems to at least have a bit of fight in them.
