Fair play 'boro.
Goal was bullshit but kept the ball from us very well to take the sting out of the game and we were only ever a threat from set-pieces.
If Sordell would pass and work hard he would be amazing.

We're too lightweight upfront..and still lack a bit of invention in midfield. I like Haroun though.

Re: Championship & Football League
So not only Kuszczak will get some games, but I will have Pierre praising/bashing him.The Manchester United goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak has joined the Championship side Watford on emergency loan terms for the rest of the season.
The 29-year-old Poland international has made 61 appearances for United since arriving in summer 2006 but has not featured for the first team this season, with David de Gea and Anders Lindegaard the first two choices between the posts for the manager Sir Alex Ferguson following Edwin van der Sar's retirement.
The clubs confirmed the deal on Tuesday morning, with Watford adding that he will wear the No35 shirt and was taking part in his first training session this afternoon.
Kuszczak will battle for the gloves with former England Under-21 keeper Scott Loach, who has played in 31 of the Hornets' 35 games so far this term.

Re: Championship & Football League
Is Szczesny definitely Poland's number one Stinger?
I know Fabianski was also looking into the possibility of a loan. He virtually has no chance of playing again this season either as we only have fourth place to play for so no real room for rotation.

Re: Championship & Football League
Since Boruc is still not considered for a call up by NT manager Smuda, then it's Szczesny who's a lock to be a starting GK at Euro. With Fabianski and Tyton or Sandomierski being back ups. Personally I would exclude Fabianski, as he got such a limited playing time, but Smuda has enough problems with defense, so he will not care much about 2nd GK role. Btw, even playing regularly for Watford chances for Kuszczak are slim, as he has a history of not dealing well with being a back up for NT.Romford Pele wrote:Is Szczesny definitely Poland's number one Stinger?

Re: Championship & Football League
There is a rumour in Poland that you will soon have Patryk Malecki on try out. He is a winger, who recently cause too much problems in Wisla Cracow and higher ups there had enough. He is a moron who doesn't know any word in English (except for various F-bombs), but he is a pretty decent winger. Poor man Bellamy would be probably my comparison. Last year there was a lot of pressure on NT coach Smuda to call up Malecki, but it didn't happen, mostly because of his character.christmasborocooper wrote:Abysmal again today.

What has happened to your academy, you once produced greats such as Brad Jones, Bate (gay CB), Wheater, Catermole, Downing and Johnson. Then the standard has degraded to fuckups like Porrit, Seb Hines etc

There are very mixed reports in polish press about how good he was on try out and if Boro is interested in him. Plus, Wisla is undergoing some changes in higher ups, so it's not even sure if they will be willing to sell him after all.christmasborocooper wrote:Yeah just been reading about it on a Boro forum..we caught up eventually obviously :p

Forest won 7-3 at Leeds. Pretty mental scoreline. they scored 2 goals each between 52nd and 56th minute
And Birmingham lost 4-1 to Pompey Nobody below Southampton seems to have any consistency.

Right so I was listening to Sky Sports News last night and the presenter said and I quote "Reading have won arguably the biggest prize in football, promotion to the Premier League"
I bet you the deluded brainwashed masses will eat that right up
Promotion to the DPL > Winning CL or World Cup. FACT.

Re: Championship & Football League
They were probably talking about it from a financial point of view. But even then they're wrong. The Championship Playoff final is, to my knowledge, the biggest one-off game financially in world football (perhaps even in sport). The winner gets about an extra £85m.
