    Shocking tackle from Carrol.

Think Silva should've done a bit better there.

    Downing and Henderson Rolling Eyes

Sounds like Balotelli's gone off on one again. Sky reporting yelling in the away dressing room which door has been damaged. Some commotion with someone shouting 'Mario, Mario' while Lucas and Adams were being interviewed.

I have to say really..if you're not playing Carrol, you might aswell not play Downing on your left wing. He's not crossing to anyone otherwise..and Adam is taking the set pieces(badly, it should be noted)..so really, not sure what they're going to get from him at this stage.

Can't believe there's yet another game we should have won and we didn't. It's hard to be angry though because City had before today only dropped 2 points all season yet we had them very scared indeed. Lucas was wonderful; I'm sure some on here claimed he's not good enough and isn't a quality player for Brazil, clearly he is. Agger was immense at the back - seems we now have a good understanding in defence and I only hope Dalglish keeps Carragher out the team because IMO this should be his last season at the club as much as I love him for what he's done for us.

Charlie Adam is looking like a very nice player as well; great on the ball, tidies things up, has a great shot. Good stuff.

Henderson and Downing pretty disappointing. Downing put some good crosses in at times but his shooting seems to have got worse and worse. Henderson didn't really have much impact today.

Pepe Reina is exceptional at reading the game, so many times we easily could have conceded but he always knows where he needs to be in order to prevent a goal.

I'm unsure as to what to make of our season really, I'm happy with the football we're playing and we're definitely hard to beat. I feel as though we're just short of the top 4 simply because we have to be more clinical and we have to put a winning run together. We're heading in the right direction though.

Im very happy with a point, still 5 clear and a tough away fixture ticked off the list. We played well first half, then they got lucky with their goal, i totally understand why Lescott stuck out his foot and was unlcuky. We didnt do too much in the second but held on and I thought Liverpool played well, they kept Silva quiet but i have to say their players seemed ot go down very easily at times.

Never a second booking imo, got to appeal that.

Pl 13 won 11 drawn 2 lost 0 scored 43 conceeded 12 - played Scum, Spurs and Liverpool away so im very happy.

RIP Gary Speed by the way, a terrible shame.

Thought 'Pool put in their most impressive performance of the season yesterday. Lucas was indeed excellent. So was Charlie Adam (hurts to say this as I really despise him). Deserved to win the game, and after the Chelsea victory, they are starting to look like a very decent side.

Still, not as good as Spurs of course, so Pool fans can look forward to 4th or 5th in May (depending on how Arsenal get on, and if Newcastle really do fall away) Ale

Yeah I think people make a bit too much out of your positive outlook. Sure you have been quite optimistic on City but you have been thoroughly vindicated by now. Nobody(myself included) expected Mancini to be the one that guided City to the very top and he seems to be doing this now. Of course S4P was just kidding in this case though.
