Juventus's search for a worldclass striker

who suits Juventus more? Van Persie or Jovetic?Should they look elsewhere like Cavani or Pazini or just carry on with a false 9 like last season?

I'd rather have Jovetic than Van Persie.He's younger,proven in Serie A(players from 1 big league often flop in another),van Persie is injury prone,29 and his Champions League/World Cup/Euro record is patchy.

I haven't seen Jovetic play much but by the sound of it he will be a better fit for Juve,Van Persie will cost so much with his transfer fee plus wages that it will be a huge risk considering his injury record in all but one season of his career.I feel he is overrated anyway,he is just a goal scorer nowadays.

Plus, Jovetic is outstanding. Reminds me so much of a young Baggio, and not just because of the violet shirt. IMO he has the potential to win the WPOTY in a few years time, if he continues to grow the way he is. I don't think Jovetic will come any cheaper than Van Persie, he will cost around 25-30m. But IMO there are very few clubs on the planet whose first XI young Jovetic cannot improve.

But I hope he doesn't go to Juve, he is my favorite non-Inter player along with Messi. It is a dream to see Jovetic in Inter colours, a part of me is hoping Inter sell Sneijder to fund a move for the young Montenegran. 20m plus half of Viviano might tempt Fiorentina.

As for Juve, I think they should be focusing on a top target man. Cavani would be ideal, but may be too expensive. Dzeko perhaps, or Higuain? I am glad they lost out on Destro. There were some rumours about a swap between Pazzini & Quagliarella. I won't mind that, coz Pazzini is shite. The kind of service Pazzini needs to be effective, he will never get at Inter.... at Juve, maybe.
