As long as we play one of Ba and Cisse out wide, we have to expect a game where we don't get a lot of chances, but when we do, we HAD to finish it with precision. We did that. HBA sucked in one of the counters, should have played in Sammy, then it'd have been perfect sucker punch goal. Any way, not just cockiness, we're used to this sort of game. Ba/Cisse aren't happy being stuck on bench. And Pardew isn't going to bench one and play a proper 4-3-3. But all things considered, we didn't really sweat for that point at Pool. Didn't seem that way to me.

Krul was time wasting from about the 5th minute; I thought you had aspirations? You never see us time wasting I. The 5th minute home or away.

You're the only person i've seen mention it and not think it was a red card, rawk included.
The ref and linesman ?
Of course he was lucky, its a shit rule if you are going to apply every kick out as a straight red, even when the 'kick' is as innocuous as Sterling's was. Thankfully the ref applied a bit of common sense to it.
I've also said Colo was unlucky so not sure where the bias is coming in here ?

We started poorly and Liverpool started fast, it's standard to try to slow the game down when that it the case.
Anyway we were pretty shit today, although i'm pleased with the point I think it was our usual Anfield performance, it's just that this Liverpool side is plain old mediocre. Gerrard is so poor these days, he kept trying to blast it in from 40 yards, no other player would get away with such wasteful play.
As for us, I think we're a team without a system and a plan, Pardew needs a major rethink.

Sure, we didn't really create enough pressure in the final third. As good as Suso and Sterling are, it'll be a while before they add end product to their games but at 17 and 18 they should both be excellent by the time they are 20. We had a few good spells and definitely should have taken the lead just after we scored the first but the sending off had a negative impact for us. You were camping deep and time wasting before it and it became way worse after.
I'm not really sure what Pardew is doing with your team. You don't really have a clear identity at the minute. Possibly not his fault though considering the lack of signings in the summer.
