Has Weimann been injured? Looked such a good partnership with Benteke developing, he didnt play against us which was actually a big relief given we are pretty shit defensively (that's why we aren't comopeting for the title Luis).

Walcott makes life difficult for us when he plays as a striker. He never makes himself available when the midfield have the ball, so we rarely have an option to play to further up the field. Plus he doesn't even contest for loose balls played forward. It makes it too easy for the opposition to recover possession, and means that he only really offers a threat once the midfield have been able to break through and start running at the back line.
He's just scored now though, and this is where he offers his quality. A calmly placed finish after Newcastle played a dangerously high line and the ball was played in behind. Might have been offside.
