I've heard plenty of rumours for that to be the case.

Slightly concerned it would be a gamble given the dreaded second season syndrome. Also, pillaging Villa almost seems beyond reprehensible. Its like the Sheriff of Nottingham taking the very last pennies from the poor. Morally questionable.

You have to laugh at the Adebayor situation. All those Spurs fans giving it the big one... "it'll be different this time, he won't do it to us". Like a naive 18 year old girl being told by a battered wife that the bloke is no good.

How were we to know our invitingly tight vagina wasn't enough to pique his interest?

We even changed the song about his parents FFS to his dad being in Investment Banking and his mum driving a Porsche. Ungrateful c**t

    Villa

    Guzan
    Lowton-Clark-Baker-Bennett
    Westwood-Delph
    Weimann-N'Zogbia-Agbonlahor
    Benteke

Subs: Given, Sylla, Holman, Dawkins, Lichaj, El Ahmadi, Bowery.

    Man City

    Hart
    Zabaleta-K.Toure-Nastasic-Clichy
    Rodwell-Y.Toure-Garcia
    Milner-Tevez-Silva

Subs: Pantilimon, Lescott, Kolarov, Nasri, Sinclair, Barry, Dzeko.

No Aguero or Kompany is good news. Think our attack could cause problems if they get supply but I fear getting badly overrun in centre midfield.

Think Nastasic has got pretty good after ropey start. K.Toure looks the weak link to me in their defence.

Is it as strange as Liverpool fans worshiping Benitez (an ex manager!) when they've been a disaster for ages thanks to ol' Rafa who won one Champions League "only" by penalties?

How are we a disaster now thanks to Rafa? We've got worse since he left, not better. He won that with a piss poor squad, not after spending hundreds of millions to only pip United by a goal. Rafa also managed to get us through the group stage in 5 of his 6 seasons. So far Mancini has had 2 attempts and failed both times.

Rafa sold Alonso you've been going downhill ever since!

The point is you are minimizing the title City won because they won it on the last day at the last second and questioning why the fans still like Mancini but your big achievement under Rafa wasn't exactly a resounding victory and yet you lot still hold him in high regard. THey won the title just a year ago and they are only in 2nd place. Not exactly the disaster that Rafa left you in.

By a goal. If you're really the best you win it like United are doing this year, absolutely cruising to it. They should be qualifying from their group in Europe as well for all the money they've spent.

worst time to give away such a piss poor goal. possible foul - it was kinda half-slip-half-foul. crushing blow though after keeping out better chances. First half hour we were on top but they'd had a few good chances.

No, but you're still missing the point. We didn't have a good squad and hasn't paid much for it and we're never expected to do well. City have spent millions and have great players but are mediocre and an embarrassment in Europe.

No Luis I think you are missing the point. If you won a title you won a title. And if you won a title often you will be held in good regard by the fans. In Rafa's last season you finished 7th in the league and went out at the group stages of the CL. This year City will likely finish 2nd in the league and went out in the group stages of the CL. Not as rubbish as you're making them out to be.
