So both Gotze and Hummels will probably miss the final. It's going to be a boring one sided affair, with the Germans inevitably winning in the end. No

i don`t like gündogan in that position, the whole dortmund side looks then different (weaker), gündogan needs the game ahead of him, to spray the passes around the field

so i don`t mind if they play with that formation, we deserve the title, for the sake of schweinsteiger and lahm

    sahin or reus

but the backside of the coin (reus as 10) is großkreutz Very Happy

sahin is not ready for this level, he was utterly crap in most bundesliga games, he had some good moments in attack, but he is often losing possession in stupid areas, and he is physcial not up there with the rest

But still, Sahin is better in possession than Kehl... from the little I have seen of Kehl I think that is the case. I think midfield is the most important part of the pitch so Gundogan should stay there, because a partnership of Bender and Kehl is average in possession. Sahin on a good day is excellent on the ball. So basically I would rather sacrifice in a wide area by playing großkreutz than weakening the CM area. Otherwise Bayern will press the fuck out of Bender and Kehl and make them lose possession too much.

Kehl is infinitely more important for the team than Sahin; he is the captain, after all, and that is not something Germans take lightly. Plus they will need all the experience that they can get this far into the competition.

I remember the Dortmund game against Marseille in last year's CL, where Kehl got injured & had to be replaced... the Dortmund team completely fell apart.

The toughest ones were Reus vs. Ribery and Martinez vs. Gündogan for me. But for the sake of balance, Martinez over Gündogan. And Reus over Ribery purely on the basis of the latter being a tad bit more clinical and being younger, so more potential to fullfil in future - both are monsters of the game when on song, and they are extremely consistent these days.

--------------neuer/weide (both were equally good, weide had far more to do, i can`t decide)

    lahm-dante-hummels-alaba
    ------schweinsteiger-gündogan
    müller-----götze------ribery
    -------lewandowski

i put gündogan ahead of martinez because he is dortmunds best player in the cl, and there most important player

götze ahead of kroos, kroos missed the big games, and götze shined in the big games

    lewandowski is a no brainer

hummels with some key goals for dortmund, but sometimes shaky in defence

this 11 could also be the top 11 of the whole cl, ronaldo and messi are obvious choices, well not for me, but for the rest of the world, the rest is spot on in terms of performances

Alaba over Piszczek? I don't think so. Piszczek as RB and Lahm as LB is the way it should be.

Lahm is playing as RB, and is having his best season of his career

lahm could hardly play the same way as LB, his crossing and passing is sublime

alaba is the best LB in the CL, better than alba or coentrao, don`t know why you don`t rate him that high!!

reus or götze, depends on how the other teammates look, reus is no 10

Piszczek has been very very good, no doubt, but Alaba has outshone him. He's already better than Lahm on the LB position, and that's saying quite a lot, and has the potential to surpass him as a player. Huge huge talent, wish he was German.
