Terrible 1st half, we haven't been that bad, Valencia have just been better. Gio screwed up for their goal, drawn into the centre, showing his lack of positional sense there. And once they got the goal they've shifted to classic Valencia mode, back 4 always stay back and never lose shape, and 2 midfielders always protecting them.

For all their attacking talent, if Villa ever gets injured, they're f-ed big time, because he's their main creative and goalscoring outlet.

And as for why there's no atmosphere, it's because of our football - it's so beautiful, it's like watching art. When you go to museums or art galleries or to the opera to watch/enjoy art, you're usually quiet. Same at Camp Nou

i actually thought that challenge was a red.. it looked intentional.. spanish refs blow if there is any contact at all.. i hate it..

valencia very impressive... lets hope for more of the same in the second half...

It was hardly terrible, he just caught the back of his shin. What about Villa flying in like Hong Kong Phooey on Marquez? He's lucky he didn't connect, otherwise Valencia would have been screwed if he got a red card.

Dreadful performance by us so far.. Valencia has been the better team, and Messi, Dinho and Eto'o seem determined to try to walk the ball into goal. The only threat is coming from Deco. Márquez and Zambrotta aren't too convincing in my opnion...

Kasnani, I agree. We aren't playing badly per se but we conceded control of the match after the goal. Once again we are too narrow - what is the point trying to beat six Valencia players in the box trying to go through the front door ffs?

I actually thought Deco was poor so far. Some shots that were way off, and a couple of bad touches to lose the ball in midfield.

The whole team does need to improve, we need to pass it around faster because Valencia are going to be very happy to just sit back and defend. And watch the timewasting tactics begin in this 2nd half. Good thing Albelda the d***head already got a yellow, no doubt he'll be on the edge of a red card the whole 2nd half.

He's not the same player though, Villa is in every move for them, he's like their Ronaldinho. He holds the ball up, lays it off to others, creates assists, finishes goals, does everything. The rest of the Valencia attackers (Joaquin, Vicente, Silva - has he even made one significant pass?) aren't doing anything.

Barça isnt doing badly, they are just being outplayed by Valencia. Albelda`s yellow will be crucial ... things will change in the 2nd half im sure of it.

I am not saying that Deco has been brilliant but he seems like the only player who actually chooses to take a shot at times instead of dribbling all the Valencia defence..

Deco has been diving too ... but thats allowed in the Poo Camp right ? ... lol
