We should just all be thankful Anelka didn't decide to do a stupid dance. Why these black footballers think its fashionable to racially stereotype should be investigated by the FA. What next, pull out a bucket of fried chicken from under their shirts? Where will it end?

Re: Premier League 28/29 December 2013
I think the problem then was interpreting what Suarez meant by it. Considering the little evidence in that case I would have given Suarez the benefit of the doubt but as Kimbo pointed out it is a bit strange for Suarez to bring up race. On the other hand we don't know the context and nor will we ever quite understand how negrito is used in Uruguay.Luis wrote:Nah. It can't be one rule for one and one for another. Suarez said a term that's acceptable in his own country but not here and got punished for it. Anelka did a celebration in the knowledge that it has anti-Semitic sentiments. That's also not acceptable in this country. By the letter of the FA's law, he should be receiving a ten game ban.
If the FA thinks that Anelka meant something anti-semitic than they can follow the precedent. It all hinges on what they conclude Anelka's intent is.
