A hilarious mess, and the best thing about it is their solution will be to give Moyes a huge transfer budget in the summer.

Its as poor United performance as it was in game against Olympiacos and I agree that Liverpool didn't play to their best, yet they were dominating for majority of game.
With their 4 attackers Moyes expects them to roam all over the pitch, but its only brings a confusion and congestion instead of creating a space. Thats IMO the biggest difference between these two teams today - Liverpool is clearly superior in finding/creating and exploiting space.
It's also not a shock to see team managed by Moyes being dangerous with counter attacks (I was used to it with him at Everton), but it's a shock to see United losing this ability so quickly after Ferguson is gone.

We weren't even that good then but Moyes is tragic.
Another big step - keep believing.

Arsenal playing one DM in Arteta. They know we are laboured with the ball. We need to cede trying to win possession percentage for a change and hit them on the break. Otherwise we will get battered. Again.

Every time one of Tottenham or Arsenal is expected to get spanked by all and sundry, the other turns up and wins.

Mata, Januzaj, Rooney and RVP maybe the more rated individuals by the fans but football was a team sport last time I checked and United's front 4 in a big game should always feature Welbeck.
Its incredible that a man like Souness who has been a player or manager for 41 years can not know the rules of the game but "deliberate handball is a booking" - all handballs are deliberate and they don't need a card.
Flanagan and Rafael very lucky to still be on the pitch but overall Clattenburg did well.

If the ref doesn't deem it deliberate he should not be penalising it.
Guidelines have changed but the rule has always been clear about intent.

Re: Premier League Fixtures 15/16 March 2014
But these days guidelines and instructions referee are getting pre-season after are at least equally important to FIFA rulebook. For example natural position of hand and/or expanding players body with hand which was hit by the ball (sorry, but my limited english makes it difficult to properly explain it) is these days very important in decision making process of giving/not giving penalties for not deliberate handball.Pierre Littbarski wrote:stinger wrote:Great strike by Rosicky.

I think we will be caught soon in semantics battle, which for sure I will lose, so that's all from me.

Re: Premier League Fixtures 15/16 March 2014
Actually, not a bad half from us. That wondergoal was a typically Spursy kick in the gonads as it's allowed Arsenal to sit back in numbers then use Chamberlain s pace to counter. The way the ball bounced off his shin for that goal perfectly into Rosicky's path was rather galling.
