I wouldn't be surprised IF the game ends up 2-2 now simple because Barcelona have switched off.

    2-2 draw at 19 odds.

City fans belt out 'Steve Gerrard slipped on his fucking arse' - that aught to motivate your side when you're 2-0 down at home to foreign opposition.

What are the odds on Pellegrini after the game in the post match presser using Mourinho's "they only beat us when we play with only ten men" card?

I thought this was going to be an exciting game. The way the Manchester City players talked before the game "oh we're ready now" "it's not gonna be like last year" "we won't show too much respect" "we're going toe to toe with'em" lol! I thought it was gonna be fireworks.

Barcelona are just too good for every elite EPL team. I'm not saying the EPL team doesn't have a chance (nick a goal, park the bus, one goal against the run of play - we've seen it all) it's football and pussy football teams have a chance albeit everything has to bounce their way.

The zionist media posters are deluded. lol! Check this one out "First time I've seen Barca this season. Shocked by how good they are considering I haven't heard too much hype about them so far." lol! lol! lol!

Those are the same kind of people who say "only two teams in La Liga", and also "the EPL is the best"

Bless their deluded souls. Biggrin <Ale>

Funny, I used to say the same about Suarez, his scoring record against the top sides while at Liverpool was really poor. tongue

Anyway, anyone with eyes can see the premier league is going through a real rough patch.

Kimbo! I forgot that Messi and his teammates were up all night gambling at the casino with Fábregas as their guest. Imagine the damage on Manchester City if they had slept.

One serious question: Can Barcelona do it against Stoke on a cold rainy night?

Your mifield is your most important part of ones team. Defense, nobody cares, just fillers to make it up to 11. And your strikers depend on your midfield.

Look at the EPL midfielders FFS.

No shit Chelsea is walking the league(if it werent for those refs)

And tonight its Iniesta-Busquets-Rakitic vs Fernando-Miller, Silva and Nasri are on islands.

Honestly, 0-2 is still quite mild.

Yaya being in there could have made a big difference becasuse he can dribble with pace and power and partake in passing combo's with Nasri and Silva. For game like this Nasri would have been better in Cm than Milner even if it wouldn't be optimal. Like Kimbo said, using Dzeko in a game like this makes little sense and especially with no Yaya and Navas.

The Juve game was better but not surprised that Dortmund kept pushing them. Nobody can handle the pressure Dortmund puts in midfield but still a bit disappointed with Pogba not doing more.

    Morata cheers

Agree, also no Kolarov makes no sense when playing Dzeko.

And if you want to use Bosnian you could at least put him against Mascherano and make Aguero drifting wide and not vice versa.

Navas over Nasri would probably make sense as well, at least Alba would have to be careful with his forward runs.

Same goes for Fernando over Fernandinho Doh

    1. La Liga

    2. Bundesliga

    3. Ligue 1

    4. EPL

    5. Serie A

Quite a big drop by both Serie A and the EPL.

By order of failures. First, Liverpool got knocked out by Basel in group stage in the struggle to see who accompanies Real Madrid to the KO stages. Chelsea shamelessly parked their bus again and were utterly dominated by PSG who should have won 3-1, 4-1 if not for Courtois. Barcelona mopped the floor with Manchester City, it wasn't even close, Barça's biggest enemy was themselves getting bored. Arsenal who were really happy when they drew Monaco, "where did it all go wrong?" they're asking on Talksport lol!

"the best league in the world", they say.

Ottito and the rest of my German mes amis, kudos to Leverkusen. I watched Monaco utterly destroy Arsenal in London so I just finished watching Leverkusen-Atlético.

Leverkusen kicked literally the shit out of Atlético lol!

Atlético -I am sure- were not ready for a violent match, but they will be more than ready for the return game. It's gonna be war. I can see Simeone rallying the troops for revenge.

Let's see how Leverkusen handle themselves now that Atlético know what to expect.

    cheers

Yeah that was the best pressing Leverkusen have done since before the Winter break... insanely high press, it was like the Barcelona swarm a la 2011... incredible that it was only 1-0, what with Leverkusen's poor finishing and the gaps they leave at the back when everyone is in the attacking half!

I was concerned that it would be another second half of the season collapse as has become normal with Leverkusen, but this is a great result, and will hopefully help improve domestic results...
