Holy shit our team looks bad. lol!

Krul, R.Taylor, Janmaat, Williamson, Colback, Sissoko (c), Gutierrez, Gouffran, Ameobi, Cabella, Perez.

A RB in the middle, a CM at LB, and a forward and a winger in CM. There are 2 CM's on the bench ffs.

I'm home from India. They don't care about anything over there, a train crash kills dozens and it doesn't make the news, though I kept getting mocked about cricket, like I give a shit about that pussy game.

Good goal but we haven't been allowed in the game, it's a freekick whenever we go near the ball.

Rooney, Zamora, Adam and now Defoe - some amazing goals this weekend in England. Still think Zamora is the most impressive for me, even if I know that I will be in minority with it.

Trashed or not, today it could have been the same, Newcastle had hardly any chances.

No, it makes sense why this derby is frowned upon by the chosen ones who live in kings landing.

Beating Chelsea/Arsenal (after a desperately shite record against top clubs last 2 seasons) + getting to a Cup final + coming 5th/6th (which is still likely) in what was always deemed to be a difficult year cannot be classed as a failed season, so there won't be any tears for you to taste I'm afraid.

I think I assessed Man City right at the start of the season - stale squad and Toure had a bit of freak season last time out with 20odd goals which he was always unlikely to be able to repeat. Aguero not being at full fitness for most of season hasn't helped either but they got some expensive backup in Dzeko, Jovetic & Bony and none of them contribute enough. add in Kompany's decline and their spine just not as strong any more.

Interesting to see how they change things in summer. Could see a new manager and a number of players shipped out: most likely Toure, Milner, Jovetic for starters, while their expensive signings this year (Mangala, Bony & Fernando) have a lot to prove. and others like Dzeko and Navas would probably be candidates for selling too, depending how wholesale they want to change.

and it's got to be a worry that they don't have any young players close to breaking through. I think Pozo is the only player under 23 who has featured for them this season. They may have some promising players out on loan, but nobody getting a sniff of breaking into their team. Even Chelsea have the odd one like Zouma. This means it will be a very expensive transition.

    ok
They will be constrained because of Financial Fairplay which should hinder too massive a change. The problem is that they have crucial decisions they have to get right. Getting rid of the loser Pellegrini is obvious. But they have big questionmarks in central defence and midfield.
Do they trust that Kompany can recover from his decline in the past 2 years or do they replace him? Their problem in defence has been finding somebody to partner with Kompany and now they might have to find 2 new guys. Likewise they have been looking for a partner for Toure and neither Fernandino or Fernando seem quite adequate and now Yaya looks like he isn't worth the hassle any more.

They have to pull off what they did 2 years ago when they brought in Pellegrini early and got all the transfers they needed early in the summer.

Fixture against Man Utd couldn't have come at worse time for them really, with relative form. Lose that and they might be in a fight to stay in top 4, which is a bit of a collapse from fighting for title.
