It's quite depressing that we're on the same level as these two teams. All play good football at times but all 3 teams haven't got a chance of the top 4 unless serious investment into top quality players is made. We can all go out and buy 3 good squad players but it means f**k all when Arsenal can buy Sanchez, Chelsea Costa, United Di Maria and City Frank Lampard.

True. It's getting a bit stale the run up for the CL spots. Need have a play off knockout like the championship division for fourth spot add a bit of cup fever and spark to rivalling teams.

lol! Liverpool have a divine right to be better, I get it.

Enjoyable game. Saints are a very good side. Nacer Chadli is such a stud.

Eriksen has gone off the boil, but Pelle has scored 3 goals in 17 so no idea what the f**k Fey is chirping about. The first one today was a clear foul too, the ref was bloody awful - Lamelas was handball and then Mané must have dived at least 7 times by my count and didn't get a single yellow. Ashley Young would have been proud of that performance.

On a better note Dier has a master crossing foot in the making Pella also did the business. Mane needs to come to Spurs He is effective around the box and reads the game well

nah. would've been a joke if that was given as a foul. bit of physical contact which put Davies off balance, but the defender has to be stronger in that position. Do you want a penalty given every time a defender jostles a striker to put him off when a cross comes in? exactly the same kind of contact and it happens dozens of times a match.

He's a good player. But the point is he fell off a cliff harder than Eriksen has given his early season form.

No it's not. Though Pelle, will only get judged by the amount of goals he scores. He was fairly unlucky multiple games. Then again that is also a quality.

But Eriksen...he just went AWOL after christmas!

The fact that Koeman is able to keep up with this Spurs squad is already quite an achievement. Considering all the money Spurs spend over the last years.

I agree Davies should have been stronger, only because he shouldn't have given the red the opportunity to make that call. jostling side by side at corners is one thing, Pelle clearly pushed him off balance directly from behind with his hands. Why would that be allowed but tackles from behind aren't? Vertonghen also got booked today for getting the ball in a slide tackle which was deemed to be from behind. If it the other way around, Davies on Pelle, it would have been (rightly) a penalty.

True. AlthoughSouthampton spent 80million last summer. But like Spurs, they had to sell first.

Unlike Spurs, they've done superbly because their scouting network is excellent. Koeman has profited from that.

We spunked the Bale money on mostly shit because our scouting network sucked. Baldini's fault. Why he's been replaced with Southampton's head of recruitment.

We only had money from selling our one world class player. We didn't use it wisely but Sanchez turned us down because we aren't from London, can't offer him consistent CL football or as much wages as Arsenal.

This summer we probably have 20 million to spend. That gets you Bolsie or Benteke Erm

I don't understand this 34th minute protest, they are angry we have £34m in the bank, so they want it to be spent on John Carver? I'd rather we kept saving money until we have professional coaching staff.
