Glad to see that Newcastle won't be boring us past christmas.

All tasty ties in our group.

Both Leverkusen and Frankfurt have some very tough groups. Couldn't have been much harder to be honest.

If we're being honest, I am not sure that any of our teams can get through, certainly won't be anything of a walkover.

The easiest group is Group G IMO, then Group C.

The toughest group is defo Group H! what a group!

Tough groups for the two German teams. Especially Group H must be a bit of a shock for all Frankfurt fans. Holy crap!

But Group B is also about as difficult as it could've been for Leverkusen.

On the bright side, interesting matches unlike last year.

Berbatov's return to Leverkusen should be good

Glad we get two games to re-establish the anglo-German rivalry

Just realised the 8 teams from the Champions league groups are to be added to make it 32.

Depends on if they actually play in Leverkusen. Remember they have this (mildly retarded ) system with two home and away games determined by the computer.

No reason to be that pessimistic chrissi. Remember that Bundesliga teams usually do much better against big teams than small / unknown ones. No reason to lose all hope yet.

The Leverkusen matches against Dinamo Bucharest will be of utmost importance for us. They simply have to beat them, and make sure that they don't advance to the next round.
Fortunately, Leverkusen are slowly but surely gaining form these days, the team seems to have geled finally, and their main weakness, the lack of goals, seems to be passé also, especially since Kießling is back from injury.

Frankfurt are a young, hungry team with an excellent coach. They may have a very hard task to fulfill, but I wouldn't write them off just yet. They might surprise a few teams in their group.

If Ajax has any aspirations of winning anything, they should qualify as #1, otherwise not bother showing up at all. At the least not drop out!
