Yes, that's why I will always respect Bayern, they are the benchmark, like I've said, and their achievements are truly impressive, considering the fact that they used to be a small club just 40 years ago (1860 München was much bigger back then, for example).

Nevertheless, I will always enjoy beating Bayern, they are the top dog after all. Matches against Bayern are a highlight for every club. But for Bayern themselves, the matches against Werder traditionally are of utmost importance as well. We are one of the few teams who consistently managed to beat Bayern in important matches.

I never hated an Italian club but ever since Calciopoli, I think I have picked up a severe dislike of Inter. Especially after their sanctimony following the scandal.

But when they go out on the field in Europe I still support them, because they are, after all, an Italian club.

In the following order:

1. Barcelona
2. Atletico
3. Tenerife

Tottenham, Fulham Arsenal and West Ham (obvious reasons - although not necessarily in that order)

(1) why do you hate the teams you have named exactly? Give three rational reasons why (those who have given them skip this question - however please, elaborate on 'cheating s***s' type of answers)

(2) And which came first - did you come to hate X because you support Y, or did you come to support Y because you couldn't stand X?.

(3) Do you think that your dislike of a rival club might surpass your support for the club you like?

(1) - arrogant, smug and nasty players ie neville, rio, scholes, keane, ronaldo, rooney
- Alex ferguson.... surely no explanation is needed on this ogre of a human being
- the fans and general aura of the club.. mainly the way they think they are the greatest football club on planet earth despite almost all evidence to the contrary

-They will forever think themselves greater than us, no matter how dismal their football is. Yet their history (and a lot of their "achievements" are severly tainted by Franco and his support.
-They always attempt to buy the league, signing whatever they can get their hands on, no matter their financial reality.

1) - Barcelona (and Atletico, for that matter) have the most pathetic inferiority complex.
- Their fans always go on about Franco.
- The club is way too self-righteous, latest example, the UNIFEF deal

2) Supporting Real Madrid and hating Barcelona commenced simultaneously.

3) No. And like Oleguer says, I don't mind the majority of the fans, we always have a go at one another but it's all in fun (most of the time...)
