Daniel Agger has celebrated an impressive start to the season at the heart of the Reds' defence by being named the PFA Fans Player of the Month for September.
The Danish defender started five of the Reds' seven games during the month and has now established himself as a genuine rival to Sami Hyypia and Jamie Carragher for a place in Rafael Benitez's first team plans.
