    Yes because Heinze has been amazing in every one and picked up exactly where he left off from before his injury.

    Alonso has been good in some games and absolute mince in others.

    Heinze was pretty rubbish against Reading and I wouldn't say he was amazing against Benfica either.

    Based on form Evra would be ahead of him.

    He was alright defensively against Benfica, but it's not like he did too much going forward. Which you do expect of your fullbacks occasionally, even if it isn't the most important thing.

    He looked well off the pace against Reading, nothing wrong with that, it was his first premiership game for nearly a year.

    Did you get this from Pouiy's report, or did you watch the full game?

    We hardly had enough of the ball so he's unlikely to get forward. They also had a very attacking right side, why Rooney had to defend there as well.

    He was immense.

    Nah, I watched a fair bit of the game. I thought he was good against Benfica. Just not amazing. I don't think he's the form left-back in the premiership by any means.

    That honour goes to Gareth Barry at the moment IMHO.

    I don’t know if he deserves to be in any of the teams listed in this thread already, but I’ve been impressed by Seol Ki-Hyeon from the limited amount I’ve seen of him this season.

    He seemed quick, skilful and direct – exactly what I like. Perhaps a better informed poster can elaborate on his abilities and form.

    Probably. He'd still be better than anyone else England have to play as the leftback in a 5 though.

    Apart from the goal, all Adebayor was doing was chasing. Cesc was very good but he did give the ball away in important positions once or twice.
