This part is true. But CRonaldo is better at the rest.famousliverbird wrote:Zack_thfc wrote:Ronaldo 10 times the player J.Cole is.
We are looking at a player who will be the best player in the world in afew years IMO. Not that J.cole isn't any good, J.cole is very talented player, with perhaps a better work rate. Thats it, C.Ronaldo's Dynamicism, flair, untold dribbling abilty, crossing, pisses over J.Cole.......

Are you sure mate? Joe Cole has better crossing than Ronaldo and has a better eye for a pass than him!

The reason I say CRonaldo might not become a WPOTY is thaht he lacks two of the most important things next to talent. Let me rephrase it; he might win the trophy due to flair and talent, but he won't be the best player in the world because he lacks 1) vision and 2) brain.Messiah wrote:it seems a if alot of you guys on here think Ronaldo will win the WPOY if a few years (i don't see any reason why i won't) but which one of these up and coming players do you think will win it 1st

Great Post.Cesc-Fab wrote:I am not disputing his record - 14 is a great record for a player of his age.
I just think that Cristiano Ronaldo has a more of a free role in the side compared to that of Joe Cole. Joe Cole is not really a left midfielder everyone knows this. Jose Mourinho has recently got the best out of Cole as an attacking midfielder behind the main striker. Joe Cole is technically the ebst player we have in this country and he is not deployed properly. Thats the difference between Sven and Scolari one used his players better the other didn't.

Tell me this, where is Ronaldo in the BIG games?
rubbish against Arsenal
Been mostly average against them, but was very good in the EPL game at Old Trafford where Silvestre got 2 goals.rubbish against Liverpool
Assisted Fletcher's winner at OT last season - destroyed Ferriera.rubbish against chelsea
As were the whole team last season.rubbish in the champions league

Kalou
I know Kalou doesn't have a hope in hell of winning it, but in fairness to him, he's been superb so far this season (whenever he's played). Completely changed the game when he came on against Fulham within minutes.

S4p, Kalou is quality, with an abundance of natural talent. Sadly, as he's a kid, he needs to play as often as possible - Chelsea isn't the club to achieve this. I said it before he moved to Chelsea, and I'll say it again: he's too lightweigth for the prem at the moment.
Kalou is the perfect foil for Sheva to play (two upfront) with - yes, better than Drogba. That is when Lampard is dropped, and Ballack fills his place (inject the team and Sheva with some much needed creativity and through passes), then Chelsea will be a different team alltogether.
