I have a wry smile on my face after Kimbo's "boring" and "4-5-1" digs at Liverpool.

Re: Newcastle V Ventspils
I can't believe Titus Shambles scored, that's his place in the team secured for a few more games. It was a frustrating game and we can't be entertaining all the time like Liverpool Obispo . But we got the win and a clean sheet so can't moan too much. I can't believe it took 80 minutes for Roeder to bring on the Zog and Milner though. It was a much more disciplined display than we've seen in pre-season. All we need is a striker to finish some of these crosses, a left back to replace Booboo, and Taylor to replace Shambles... i don't care how great his header was. Roeder needs to get his arse in gear soon because i'm far from impressed with his team selection so far.
And Emre MOTM, he was fantastic!

You could atleast try. 4-5-1 and relying on set pieces to score... That's what you'd expect off a confrence side going to Old Trafford in the FA cup.
Very disappointed.

We were forced to go 4-5-1 due to a lack of strikers, what's Liverpools excuse?

The fact that we had one fully fit striker? Crouch lacked match fitness, fowler's injured...

I'm still not sure Duff should be in front of N'Zog. I mean, Duff's a great player, but Zog looked class last season.

Duffs a class act, he was one of the best players out there today. It'll just take a few games for him to get on the same wavelength as the midfield and strikers(whoever they may be). The Zog should play just off whoever we end up buying IMO. There's no way he should be left out of the first team.
