And it may reflect a kind of quality control of the clubs.
(Would O'Shea ever play for Chelski?)

What, even Gary Speed, Kevin Davies and Quinton Fortune?

Darren Fletcher? Justin Hoyte? Jermaine Pennant?
can't see these players pushing to get into many top sides, Chelsea's squad is horrible, rivals most top interntional sides for depth.

Hoyte is very underrated. Pennant isn't in the main first Liverpool XI is he? (they play Gerrard wide right). Fletcher isn't in the main Man Utd XI most of the time either.

The same Fletcher, who outplayed your entire midfield?
He's been excellent this season.
Parks Lives wrote:Care to name those attacks?
He was closing down Alonso constantly and Riise, one of Liverpool's best outlets could barely get out of his own half. Fletcher's passing was also very good.
As for hyping up Richardson, thats just pure generalisation based on nothing, he's shit and always had been.
Fletcher isn't.

These are players who'd I'd expect to make 30+ appearances in all competitions... or be a league cup regular.
--------------------------Almunia
P.Ferreira-----Hyypia--------Silvestre--------Warnock
SWP-----------O'Shea------Lampard-------Richardson
-----------------Smith---------Bellamy
Hyypia is clearly on a downward curve (age), so it sounds harsher than it's meant to be... aside from that, the rest have all done enough to warrant their inclusion in "worst of the top 4 XI" over the past 18 months.

Let's be real Kimbo. Do you seriously expect Bolton to finish ahead of Liverpool this season?Kimbo wrote:TeamSpirit™ wrote:I'm going to try...

Hunt for Hyypia, Hoyte for Warnock, and Anelka for Bellamy(?). Anelka hasn't shown the best form since moving to Bolton.
But only one of them is in the top 4. It's hard to pick out a striker that isn't playing well in the top 4 right now.theflyingfrenchman wrote:Anelka has been miles better than Bellamy.
