Ronaldo by a long way as well. Since the turn of this year he's been like a whole different player at club level and has continued his form for his Country.
The only player who came close to him at the World cup was Podolski and he was hardly doing much at Cologne before he signed for Bayern.

Cristiano Ronaldo deserves it over the rest, he had a good Premiership campaign last season and IMO was the best youngster on display in Germany this Summer.
Cesc and Podolski should fight it out for the 2nd and 3rd places.

Messi has only played something like 6 matches in the league and few in the CL for barca this year , and he didn't start all of them.
All bias aside, i truly believe cesc fabulosa has done more this year.

Don't forget guys, this is voted for by all the players...IMO it'll simply go to the most hyped players. ie. either Messi or Rooney. Ronaldo and Cesc will probably be close.

Anyway fifa is calendar year, but this one isnt i dont think, why because rooney has difficult world cup, his season where he was great with man utd is forgotton. Podolski had ok world cup apart from that i duno he would be 5 for me. messi cesc rooney 2 3 and 4 any order it doesnt really matter.
